Everest Sling Bag, Black, One Size

It was hard to a bag compatible in size to an old Nike bag I had. This is a great deal.

My teen is a very active participant at her high school. During the summer, she bikes there which means that she needs to be able to balance the weight on her back. She did not need a backpack for academics as she already has that. This bag is for her extras. She loves it. After 4 months, it has taken a lot of abuse with no signs of wear. The Velcro on the strap in the front allows her to adjust the bag without always having to pull it over her head. The triangular design still allows her to carry band shoes (think bulky men's dress shoes), water bottle, wallet, 8x11 sheet music, phone, and STILL there is room for spare summer clothes or one hoodie (depending on the weather). The bag itself is not bulky but it can carry what she needs. Not only has it worked out well for when she needs a smaller than backpack bag but I can see her using it for overnight. It would not work for a school bag if the student uses more than a smaller laptop or 2 textbooks.

This bag serves the primary purpose I purchased it for and that was to use it to store my tablet, phone, headphones, a couple of magazines, travel documents, a few minature bottles of booze, brush and comb, and a snack or two while traveling. The bag is very sturdy and supports the weight of all those things without the bottom sagging. The large compartment holds all the things I need without being cramped but not too loose either. The smaller compartment holds keys, phone, change, pen without any issues, although it would be nice if it had pen slots, business card size slots, etc. sewn into it. The other really small pocket is good for gum, and works well to throw your smartphone in real quick when going through security at the airport. Overall I'm pleased with the bag. I wish it had a zippered documents pocket on the back like another bag I have, but I managed without it. And, it would be cool if the large compartment had it least one interior slot pocket for papers. The cell phone pocket on the strap isn't big enough for a smartphone at least not my HTC Evo. So, I put my keys in it. The bag fits easily under an airplane seat without taking up too much foot space.It worked well for me. I would have given it 5 stars but I wasn't impressed with the look of the bag that much and because i think it could use some minor tweaking. BTW, I use a keyboard with my tablet so it actually ends up being about the size of a small laptop. I also have it in a nice cover that adds to it's size and weight. This bag is large enough and sturdy enough to carry and support a small laptop as well.

I've have ordered a couple of these through the past years they're the most durable bag I've ever used you could put a lot of stuff in these also I use mine every day and packed it until it was completely full this bag is easy to use Easy to carry and the most durable bag I have

I bought this bag last year in August 2, 2013. I still love it. However I did tear it while I was at school but this was my problem. I put my insanley large History book in this bag, the bag itself did not rip but.the strap began to unravel. This upset me, and why I now purchased it again. I am an Art student so this bag is ideal for me for not carring a lot of stuff. So if your lifestyle requires little to no books this backpack is for you. Just be warned putting more than one heavy book the size of a toddler in it or it will show signs of tear. Also another thing I wanted to inform, a 15-15.6" laptop can easily fit in this back pack. Just be careful each computer has it's own dimensions. Otherwise a cool backpack.Fsst shipping. I ordered this backpack June 15 and got it yesterday afternoon. I highly recommend this bag.

would love to say i had no problems with it cause it is a great bag, if it wasnt for the stitching coming out I would love it.. I got it for work, I bike about 2.5 miles to and then from everyday and the first 2 days it held great but then on the third i noticed the strap on the top of the bag was ripping... I dont have all that much in it, my dress shirt and pants, then i put my t-shirt and shorts in when i get to work, my wallet, deodorant, and a coke is basically what i haul around but guess that was to much for this bag... :(The bag did show up early though so that was even more of a reason I was happy with it at first..Anyway, great bag, not great craftsmanship, great delivery...Returning for a different one unfortunately...

When I received this bag I thought I had found the perfect sling pack for those days when I commuted to work by motorcycle. I don't generally need to haul a lot of stuff back and forth, so the size was great and the price oh-so-low. When it arrived it looked great. It's a very simple bag, but suited my needs just perfectly. Now that I have had it for a month and used it no more than 10 times I see that the fabric is fraying apart from the seams and that it will only be a matter of time before it falls apart completely. Wouldn't you know it - I'm outside of my return period. I have just purchased a new bag, realizing that in instances such as this you usually get what you pay for. The new bag costs a lot more, but hopefully will last substantially longer. So, if you need a bag that you'll use just a few times, this is your bag. If you plan to actually use the thing for a while, stay away.
