This is a marvelous depiction of the famous scene where the Phantom takes Christine down to his lair beneath the Opera House. The detail in this is incredible! From the Phantom's iconic fedora, white mask, and cloak, to the candles rising from the water, to Christine's jacquard dressing gown, to the intricate gilding on the boat---it's a moment frozen in time. There's even a little lantern dangling from the front of the boat. Very true to life!My only complaint is that the bodice peeking out from under Christine's dressing gown was painted blue, when in reality, she wears a red, green, and gold leotard with this costume. But that is a very minor complaint---don't let it discourage you from buying this breathtaking collector's piece. It's produced by the San Francisco Music Box Company, so the quality is high, although it isn't a music box, exactly. There is no "box" or compartment, it's just a figurine, but it does play "Music of the Night" when you wind the key on the bottom.I bought this for myself as a special treat and I'm so glad I did! It's simply gorgeous. Five stars and highly recommended for anyone who appreciates the Phantom of the Opera memorabilia.

This is a beautiful piece. My mom loves Phantom of the Opera, and it was one of her birthday presents. I can’t get over the quality- it’s perfect.

Although product was good the method of delivery was not! It wasn’t in a box or bag to hide what it was a just left in front of door just asking to be taken . Very disappointed at that for it was for a gift for a household member

No the faces of the this item they were not correctly design , i kept it because I broke the one I had accidentally, but not I am not satisfied

My daughter loves it.

I saw the play in NYC on Broadway with my daughter. This representation is absolutely beautiful and brings back the boat scene in the show vividly. The music plays well and the details are stunning. It's rather like a float in a parade- you don't know which fascinating detail to admire first. I got this for my daughter for Christmas. Now that I've seen it, I intend to order one for myself as well.

I bought this as an anniversary gift for my parents, as they have seen the musical and been to London several times. They were THOROUGHLY impressed by the quality and the uniqueness of it in general. It arrived in a timely manner and was absolutely beautiful. I cannot speak highly enough of this item! I HIGHLY recommend!

The detail is really great. My dad is a big fan of the Phantom of the Opera, so I got him this for father's day. He really liked it. It does play music, but just know that the song it plays, Music of the Night, plays sort of fast and if you haven't seen the movie than it might be hard to figure out what song is playing. HOWEVER I don't see any reason why someone would buy this unless they have seen the movie and are a fan so I don't think you will have any trouble.Over all it is really great. I have to say the best part is the detail. It looks really great sitting with some of my dad's other knick knacks. I say go for it, it's so worth it.
