Cute playtime for toddlers.

Our two-year-old grandson LOVES this playdough. He likes all the Sesame Street characters and loves playdough so it's a perfect combination. He spends part of the time actually playing with the playdough (squeezing, pinching, rolling, poking) and the other part stacking the containers to make a tall "tower". Then (of course) he knocks it down! He's learning about colors while we play as well (i.e. Red - like Elmo, Green - like Oscar).

I purchased this product for my great niece who will be celebrating her 2nd birthday. Her Mom says her daughter loves anything Sesame Street, and Playdough is the next step in her development! :-) I know they will have fun together with these brightly colored Sesame Street playdoughs!

Okay .. let’s just jump into this.The packaging : The playdough containers themself are adorable, sturdy and no different than any other playdough packaging.It’s a non toxic formula.When I opened the package all containers were in the bottom and no longer in place within the original packaging. If you were going to gift this you’d have to find an alternative way to present it.The Playdough Formula : It’s dry.The red, yellow and pink were pretty good. The red Elmo had the best consistency, texture and moisture it was very easy to mold and play with. The green and blue were so dry. We couldn’t really use the green and I attempted to save the blue with a drop of water as the instructions on the package tell you to do. Add one drop of water to restore the playdough. It worked for about 5 mins before it was dry again. It crumbles everywhere.My son has taken an extreme liking to Sesame Street and playdough so when I found this I was no doubt buying it, I seen the reviews and they’re mixed so I took the chance. It’s not crazy expensive and playdough is going for the same price all around so I’m not mad about that.I would expect the formula to be better, idk if maybe these have sat for a long time or what but that’s my only complaint.Otherwise my child loves all the characters, he loves that they each have their own color and container. He’s gotten hours and hours of play with these and luckily the 3 colors were still good for him to play with.I think I’m going to buy separate playdough in red, green, blue, yellow & pink and replace the playdough it came with in another week or so. That way he can still enjoy the Sesame Street characters.

If your toddler is anything like mine and loves both playdough and Sesame Street this is the toy to get. He’ll play forever with the cutouts and knows the characters names. The playdough does seem very soft unless left out too long but we just replaced it with regular playdough.

These are a big hit w the Sesame Street toddlers! Our 4 and 2 year olds loveeee then! Soft and pliable. I def recommend!
