Works fine for my needs
Used on a non overclocked R5 1600 with a generic 212 Evo. Idling at 32C at room temp (summer). I could pay more, but this is adequate.

Inexpensive, easy to use, and works well
I upgraded my CPU to be Windows 11 compliant and needed thermal paste. This stuff went on easy and has been working great for months.

Don't use toothpaste, use this instead.
I don't know the pedigree of the components of this grease whatsoever, but am confident that it has the basic thermally conductive properties a modern CPU requires to be effective. It says it has diamond dust in it, and satellites use diamond heatsinks, so there you go. Was a longtime Arctic Silver user, and this appears to be at least as effective as it. Also: I got a really good deal on this. So buy whatever thermal compound is on sale, I say.
