Best box opener there is
I've had one of these for YEARS and wanted another one to keep in a different room. Very sturdy. The one I've had for years looks brand new and the slider mechanism works perfectly. Glad Amazon had this model.

This Stanley.....
....utility knife is a must in my tool box and in my studio. The sturdy comfortable handle has interior blade storage. The snap-off blades offer a "continous" sharp edge without having to completely deconstruct the handle. An extendable blade offers the opportunity to easily cut thicker material.

Great
All my co workers have this and it's really good, but when I ordered one they sent me the wrong thing as seen in the picture is the 10-280 but they sent me the crap that I posted in the picture as the 10-280. So what they have advertised is the right thing but what they sent me as seen in the picture I posted is the wrong thing, because what they sent me is something light and flimsy and the real thing is more heavy duty so as you can see in the picture I posted they have the wrong label because what they sent me is not the 10-280

not the best but practical
My favorite is by Dewalt, very reliable but requires flipping or replacing blade. You can just break off the tip blade when dirty. This is excellent for dirty environments l like opening boxes or bags, I would not use it to score plastic or other hardware uses but excellent in service industry uses. I have one of each, until someone steals it on-site; it happens. I tried using a $3 Home Depot knife, it disappeared. I donated it, now gone. No explanation

Cuts it
Fits hand nicely and is easy to use. Extends and retracts with minimum effort and does not slip once blade length is set. Fits into shirt pocket, jeans pocket, tool box. Can be used for cutting thick foam insulation

Good blade
Bought this to replace the one in my molded tool set box. Alas, it’s too big to fit in the molded space. But, it’s still a keeper. A bit beefier than what I replaced.
