Very Attractive Clock/Thermometer
This was purchased as replacement for a replacement. It is an extremely attractive clock and fit right in with the paneling in our 5th wheel travel trailer. The two previous clocks had the thermometer sending unit fail. I tried replacing the sending unit itself but no such luck. You know what they say about fool me twice, but I had no alternative. So far everything is working great. I recommend this clock with reservations. I know they can fail but their usefulness and appearance overpower the possible failure. We'll see.

Sensor also works on a second La Crosse Atomic Clock
I had another La Crosse clock that I liked, but the sensor gave out and I couldn't find a replacement. When I set up this BBB86088 model I thought, why not, and reset the old clock. It does work on model 513-1417-INT as well. Now, I have two clocks working off of the same sensor. This clock was easy to set and looks great. It may be where I live, but I've always had problems with Atomic clocks changing time twice a year, and I usually have to reset them myself. We'll see how this clock does.

And after all that I found the "Quick Setup Guide"!
NOTE: [This review was originally just 3 stars; see update below.]Just got the clock yesterday and activated it with fresh batteries. Even though there are not explicit written instructions (except those found on back of clock) I was able to set-up fairly easily; in this respect it helps to be a 'DYI' kinda guy, which I am.The outdoor temp signal was accessed almost immediately, and shows the expected temp. One note; I thought at first that I was missing the temp transmitter, only to find it hidden inside the base of the box the clock came in. You have to tear it apart to get it out and I wonder if this is what happened to those who have complained of no transmitter? It is easy to see how one might miss it, especially those sorts that toss the packing box away without hesitation.Having a 18 inch La Crosse wall clock that has worked like a charm since I bought it a few years ago, I was not anticipating any difficulty with this clock. However after it found the satellite atomic signal (which did take awhile) the clock updated to Eastern Standard Time. This would be wonderful if I lived on the east coast of the United States, but alas I live on the west coast and am now looking at a three hour time difference, which sucks! I am awaiting an answer to my question posted to Amazon community, to see if this can be fixed?UPDATE 04/22/15;The Amazon community came to the rescue and told me how to se or "reset" my time zone. I'll be honest and say I missed it on the back panel instructions and that it was easy to overlook; still a little embarrassing. After reading some other reviews I wonder if the manufacturer could spare a separate sheet of paper for more detailed "set-up" instructions? In any case the clock works fine like most Lacrosse products and hopefully will last for at least a few years.UPDATE Part 2; So I was flattening the packing box for the recycle bin when out fell the paper 'Setup Guide' which was skillfully hidden under another inner layer of cardboard... I literally had to destroy the box the clock came in to find instruction sheet, which was no big deal as I had to rip it open to get the temp transmitter out. Otherwise nice 'Time-Temp-Date' clock.

Love it - works great - temp feature is awesome!
My mom wanted a wall clock that she could see from the couch and matched the wood decor. This was a home run... she loves the temp. feature. All winter she would send me a pic of how cold it was.

Almost Perfect
I ordered this clock for my workspace and so far my biggest complaint is that the day of the week is incorrect. I'm not sure if it's because of the year that the clock was manufactured but there was no way I could find to get the day of the week to show correctly. According to the instructions, it's supposed to automatically match up with the date that you put in but it's a few days off (March 31 is supposed to say FRI but it reads TUE).I also took it outside for the 5 minutes the instructions told me to so it would link up with outdoor temperature and current temperature. That didn't exactly work either but the temperature is less important to me personally. However, if you're going to use it indoors and you want the indoor and outdoor temperatures to read correctly, you may run into issues.Pros: It's nice it has a stand on the back so you can set it on a table or easily put it on a wall. Everything is easy enough to read. I takes two AA batteries which is nice that it's not an oddball battery.

It works well.
The clock still works. The temp sensor died after 15 or 20 years (I can't find when I bought it). it was cheaper to buy a new clock with sensor than just the sensor
