Last summer I bought a cooling towel by this same company and loved it, so I jumped when I saw this and it didn't disappoint! This was a couple dollars more than some others I saw on here, but the quality is definitely worth the price!

I see these things being used by athletes so I figured they must work better than what I think. Nope, not for me. It is designed to be wetted to enable cooling and this does work. It’s just that I need open air around my head and this thing is claustrophobic. I also got this brand’s wettable gimme style hat and flop hat. The flop style hat is my favorite. So, as far as I’m concerned the hoodie scarf is a negative but the two hats are both positives.If you’re a hoodie lover you’ll probably love the scarf thing.

I have an issue with fast heart rate when I'm playing golf in temps over like 80 degrees. Keeping my head cool fixes that. This hood works fantastic. I can keep playing golf year-round now!

The idea of keeping your head (brain) cool during these intense summer temps is enticing. Really pretty much mandatory. We humans (especially us older humans) don't last long in the 100+ degrees facing a lot of us.I can't afford the luxury of having some "landscape" crew managing my lawn.I picked up the MISSION Gaiter first and that seemed to help with heat control. Just keep flushing it with fresh water every hour or so.The hoodie is a little different. If there is a wind blowing it can be very helpful in cooling down your head. With no wind, it just seems to trap heat inside. In my situations that really doesn't work.So maybe the idea is to buy one and use it when possible, just knowing that sometimes it really almost does the opposite of what is claimed.

I like that it helps me stay cool in the heat just as advertised. The only problem I have with it is that it tends to slip off of my head so I would say make sure to combine it with a cap. As far as drying time is considered I would say it dries pretty quickly after use of you just hang it up especially if it's in the sun. While wearing it it will get a little dry after around 3 to 4 hours in my own personal experience with it but for maximum cooling I would wet it after 2 hours of use.
