I make and eat a lot of hummus. Buying bulk tahini is the only way to go - individual jars are too costly. This is good quality tahini, and it was very fresh. It had not even started to separate yet. Plus, once you use up the tahini, the pail with tight-locking lid is great for storing flours, etc.

The media could not be loaded. I love this product, but every time I order multiple tubs, it spills in delivery. Can amazon do something about this?

The lid was half off and the tub was split - leaked everywhere and all over other items. Not eligible for refund or return. Sadly went into the dumpster.

Love this brand's tahini and find it reasonably priced, too. The only issue is mixing such a huge amount although there is room to mix it takes forever. This is inevitable but compared to the smaller bottles which hardly need mixing at all, it is a hassle. HOWEVER I have a method of pre-mixing...TIP:You can flip the bucket every few hours (4-8) for a couple days and it becomes much easier to mix up properly.

The bucket leaked all over in the shipping box.It seems like the bucket I received doesn't have a rubber gasket inside the lid to help seal it. I don't know if they all don't come with a gasket. I buy coconut oil in gallon buckets and it has a small gasket to help it seal. I'm not sure if the leaking means that it is not ok to consume. If it's not fully sealed maybe it's rancid...?

Flawless experience! My container arrived perfectly; no spilling. It was completely sealed too. The hummus, it was delicious! I believe that it was creamier because I had to mix it with 2 big spoons. Something that I couldn’t do with the small bottles. I’m going to use a similar container but smaller, a wide pail type glass container, because the bottles are more challenging when you try to reach and mix the bottom part. I couldn’t believe the flavor!! I’m very happy, thanks again for another great product Amazon!

the large bucket will leak — sometimes a lot, if loosely packed in transport box and/or rough carrier handlingdifficult to manually combine the separated sesame oil with dense sesame paste product settled at bottom of bucket; to solve, dump all bucket contents into large stand mixer (e.g. >= 6.5 qt, KitchenAid) and slowly stir with paddle attachment, periodically stop and use spatula to scrape off unmixed sesame paste from both bowl & paddle — after fully combined, transfer from mixer bowl back into original bucket for storage — use a good spatula to minimize waste; then from the bucket, one can easily Iadle some into a smaller container for refrigerator storage to thicken that tahinione of my favorite desserts: drizzle tahini & maple syrup over top quality vanilla ice cream, sprinkle with cinnamon, finish with a pinch of salt
