I’ve had acne scars from when I was teen, most notably on my temples directly to the side of my eyes. Honestly, they’ve been there for 20+ years so I wasn’t expecting anything to really help without paying a lot of money for fancy procedures. I use other Brickell products like their moisturizer and face wash and I figured it couldn’t hurt to give it a try.Personally, I think the results are subtle but I’ve only been using it a little over a week and like I said these scars have been here FOREVER so I wasn’t expecting overnight miracles. That said, I do feel like I see some improvement. The scars seem a little less deep/pronounced. I’m definitely excited to keep using the cream until the bottle runs out and see if it continues to improve with use.I attached a photo from the first evening before I put it on and this morning after 10 days of using the product. I took it in the same lighting and put an identical black/white filter on it so you can see any changes for yourself. Like I said, it hasn’t magically erased them, but I know my face and I’m seeing a change and I’m hoping to see continued improvement! But at the very least the product does feel nice, doesn’t have a weird odor, and certainly isn’t irritating the skin or making anything worse. I’d give it a shot, especially if you’re already familiar with the brand

This review is based on results attributed to using this product after one month. I have a scar that was caused by accidental contact with sulphuric acid. If you know anything about sulphuric acid, you know that it's nasty stuff and will dissolve materials very quickly. The day of the incident, I quickly ran to the shower to wash off the acid that I came in contact with, and by the time I had left the shower, there was a hole in the bathroom floor from where the acid had dissolved. Fortunately, I didn't end up like the floor and only sustained minor burns, some of which resulted in a scar. Even though they are noticeable, I've been able to live with them and hadn't put much thought into trying to remove them. But, when I saw Brickell (the company I buy most of my skincare products from) had released a scar cream I decided to give it a go!Here is what I noticed. The unevenness of the skin, the minor crater formed from the acid melting my skin, that remains. However, the discoloration of that area is vastly improving! I used to look like my skin was bleached in the area of the scar, now the coloration is much closer to the rest of my skin. What makes this particularly exciting for me is that I'm only a month into using this product! I look forward to seeing what results I'll get after 6 months to a year.

I have some mild acne and shaving scars - nothing serious but I bought this product to see if it could help minimize/completely reduce those marks. I've only used it for 7 days but I'm quite sure I can see some slight improvements :) Yes, the instructions say to allow for 2 weeks for visible results, so I'll keep using it to see if there's an even bigger improvement.I find this cream to have a thin, light texture, which I'm fine with. But oh boy does it pack some good hydration! I am genuinely impressed by how hydrated my skin feels afterwards! Within 1-2 minutes (after wash, tone, and "dry" - as the instructions suggest) this cream absorbs quite well. After about 10-15 minutes, my skin looks and feels hydrated - firm but supple (if that makes sense, haha). I initially used it in the morning and evening but now only at night as it feels like my skin has a slight oily layer later in the day ... BUT that could simply be environmental, or my skin's natural sebum production, or simply how long this cream hydrates/moisturizes my skin.Even so, just using it at night, I wake up and my skin looks well-hydrated. Despite my skin feeling a bit oily later on in the day after applying this cream, I can confidently say that this product is not comedogenic - meaning I have not found it to block my pores and cause breakouts/blackheads as a result. I definitely consider this an upside.I'm not entirely sure yet whether it's reducing the appearance of my scars (hence the 4 stars), or merely improving my skin texture (or maybe a combination of the two?). It does contain Vitamin C, which I know is quite effective at improving skin texture. Nevertheless, I'm quite happy and impressed with this cream and will continue to use it to see how my skin looks in the next few weeks. You also don't need to pile on the layers as it moisturizes well enough, spreads nicely, and can last you quite a while. My advice: use a small amount and spread it gently and evenly over your face, and don't rub it. Just spread it, wipe over a few times, and leave it to absorb and do its thing :)Overall verdict: I found it to be a strong moisturizer (be mindful of your own skin's sebum production!) and definitely saw some improvement in my skin texture with a possible reduction in scar appearance. I'm definitely keeping this one in my skincare arsenal to use often and if you're looking for something with good moisturizing capabilities, you might want to consider this one.

Rich and luxurious, it just feels like it’s helping right now when you put it on. I have a couple scars on my stomach from a hernia operation that I’ve been using this cream on and they are lighter and less noticeable since I started using this cream nightly a few weeks ago. I don’t know about the science behind it but I hate the way my scars look and was willing to try anything. Great product for the money and it has worked for me!
