Alexa turn on Kitchen!
The media could not be loaded. The kit arrived well packaged. However there are no instructions labelling the parts and how to connect. There is a poor quality leatlet explaining how to download the Smart Life app required for enabling the lighting to work with Alexa on wifi.So here’s my advice:1. Connect all the lighting strips (plug the ends together), and connect to plug. Switch on. Check it is working2. Then download the Smart Life app. I used the QR code on the leaflet which brought up the correct app version.3. The biggest problem I had was this lighting only works on 2.4GHZ. Right?! Now what does that mean?? I have BT internet Smart Hub 2 broadband. So when I tried to discover the light device using the app after 2mins it failed to see it.(you get 2mins only). I kept trying and trying. I even went out my house to get a weaker signal (the 5GHZ flips to 2.4GHZ). But it still didnt work! I called BT. They confIrmed it runs on 5GHZ. They suggested I reset my Smart Hub to factory settings. But couldnt not guarantee it will affect my other devices (including my echo devices etc). They said after you set up the Smart alighting then to call them back to return my internet to 5GHZ. I did not like the sound of that. Then i logged onto my BT account. Onto my hub manager. It says 2.4GHZ and 5GHZ. Both are running. But as a default it selects 5Ghz for speedier internet service. Anyways! You have to disable the 5Ghz, and click Save changes button (this may take a while). I found all my echo devices stopped responding. But eventually turned on. Then the BT Smart Hub stopped working! I had to power it ON again. It started up in 2.4Ghz. Then I was able to use the Smart Life app. It found the Light (by the way choose Smart Bulb wifi option when discovering the device). Oh I forgot to say the insteuctions in the kit says to turn the light on off, on off, then on. Oh yes. You need to do that. As the light then starts blinking. Its in that mode it can be discovered by the Smart Life. Also note. Each time you try this you have to do the on-off routine. But i. The end I was so happy it worked! You can rename the device, I called mine ‘Kitchen’. (Also you will have to register your info on the Smart Life app, and email address etc. They send you a verification code by email).4. Next step is to go to your Alexa app (I’m assuming your Smart Assistance device is Alexa (Probably the same for Google). You need to go to Skills & Settings. Search the Smart life app And Enable it. Then you can go to you Devices option on Alexa app. You will see your new device ‘Kitchen’ appears in your list of devices. Thats it. It should work now.5. Test by asking Alexa (on your Echo Dot device) to turn on kitchen. And then turn off kitchen. You can ask Alexa to ajust dim level by saying Change Kitchen to 50%. See my video attached.6. Now you need to get back onto you BT Hub manager (on web page) and turn 5Ghz back on. You may have to power up the Hub again. So everything starts in 5Ghz. I was worried the lights wont work. But they do!! Yeahhh! I tell you. Why do manufacturers make it so difficult for mere mortals? Please design smart bulbs and devices to run both 2.4 and 5Ghz. Its crazy! It did take me altogether 3hrs. Sweat and tears. Oh yes. Lots of tears. But im so happy it worked in the end. As i thought i had to return everything. And i had already stuck down the light strips! Yikes!6. So my advice is. The final step. After you know it works on Alexa etc. Then stick the light strips under the cupboards (or wherever you want them). The kit does come with screws and brackets. But heck. Why would i want to make holes? The adhesive strips are v v strong. So make sure you worked it out where you want them. The kit does have extender wires. And where its too long you can tie them with the straps provided. Which too can be stuck onto the plastic brackets. Again this kit had no instructions! I had to figure out all myself!I hope this review has helped you. And that you are able to get everything set up and working in 30mins. And not 3hrs like it took me!!By the way. I love the smart lighting. My kitchen sink area was always dark. Now its light and bright. You can ask Alexa to change the colour to warm tone. And adjust the dimmer. All voice control. I love that. The convenience.

Good product
Works as described, easy to set up both physically and technically. The one I received has 5 pins not 4 so wait until you get it to order any extension cables.

Excellent purchase
I was a little worried these would be cheap tat but I was pleasantly surprised, good quality, nice and bright, easy to set up and worked with Alexa straight away. Plenty of accessories to work around any types/lengths of cupboards. Can get it set up on a routine so they turn on when you wake up or go to sleep, certain times etc. Really happy with these and would use in other places in the house, could be great for wardrobes, etc.

Great, until they stop working after 2 months. Waste of money.
Great lights, until one of the set of three stops working after 2 months and there is no response from the seller when I write asking for help replacing the one faulty light. Feels like I've wasted my money and will now have to go find a different set to buy.Note to seller, respond to my messages and agree to replace the faulty light, and I'll update this review accordingly.

Awesome lighting kit
Used for under cabinet kitchen lighting, linked to Alexa. So simple to set up with plenty of extra wires included.

Don't Re-order and expect the same thing!
First off, If you buy these as a one off and get everything you ordered, it is a good product and works well. However, I had a bad experience ordering exactly the same item. I was so pleased with the first set (easy install, setup and integration with Alexa) I decided to install elsewhere, this was when the problems started.(1) The 2nd set arrived with no extension cables ( 2 should be included) and I particularly needed these for the more tricky 2nd install.(2) The 2nd set had different connectors ( 5 pin rather than 4 pin on the 1st set), and yes, I double checked, I did order exactly the same item, I compared the boxes and information sheet from both sets and part numbers and everything else on the boxes and documentation were identical. This would not have been a major problem in itself, however, as I knew the 2 extension cables (missing) that should have been in the box would not be enough I ordered 5 extra extension cables that are available as an other item specifically for extending these lights and this leads to the 3rd issue(3) I ordered a separate extension pack of 5 extension leads from the same supplier and clearly sold as for these lights and guess what, the arrive with another different connection type, 4 pin again, but slightly different from the connectors on the first set of lights, so basically incompatible with either the first or 2nd set of lights.Overall, my faith in this product and the supplier has been substantially diminished, based on missing parts and incompatible connectors, which is a pity as it is otherwise a good product.Unfortunately I had to return both the 2nd set of lights and the additional 5 pack connector kit as both were incompatible rendering the products useless for my application. I would not risk ordering again.

Decent brightness, easy to install, love the colour tone control.
I had returned several 'smart' bar lights for under kitchen cabinets as the light output was poor. This kit is very bright, so much so that for evening ambient light its enough to set at 30% brightness. I like the colour adjustments which means you can find a suitable colour tone to go nicely with the room.Plenty of clips and tapes and sticky pad installation options in the box and a good length of wire.Wifi setup no hassle.Overall very happy so bought a second set for our utility

Great lights
I was sceptical of the lights but I am really happy with the way they have turned out, and all connected to Alexa easy.
