Kirkland Signatures Basmati Rice - 20 Lbs. (9.1kg) - Gluten Free

My husband’s a chef, and thought I was nuts, buying this huge bag of rice— until he had some. Now he’s sold on it! Kirkland’s Himalayan Basmati rice has a wonderful flavor, distinct, sweet, but not overpowering. You can make it light and fluffy or stickier depending on your need. It compares favorably with Jasmine rice but personally, Jasmine can be overpowering and does not marry as well as this Basmati in many dishes. And, I stress, it is THIS BRAND which is so exceptional. I’ve had other basmatis and they are okay, but nothing to write home about. I prefer to cook my rice on the stove, but have also tried it in a rice cooker, and it maintained its integrity.

This basmati rice is terrific. It cooks well and the taste is superior to regular rice. I double the water to rice ratio with a bit more. 2 C water + 2 Tbl spoons to 1 C rice I also cook it on low on the stovetop for 25 minutes instead of the normal 20. It always comes out fluffy and perfect every time.

Paid way too much for this. It's cheaper at Costco. Save yourself some funds and get this elsewhere. Other than price. This bag of rice is as advertised.
