This is NOT double edged
High quality knife that was sharp out the box. This knife is listed as double edge meaning it’s useful for both right and left handed users. Upon inspection, only has right side edge so can only be used by right handed people. Considering this is not my only Gyuto I’m keeping it because I can use it for certain tasks. Left handed users beware.

It is important for a sushi chef to have a good knife. Very sharp,make cut sashimi a lot easier and faster, highly recommend it .
