worth the money
It would be nice if they came in black and natural aluminum. After reading some reviews, I expected the latches to be fragile and cheaply made. To the contrary, the four I ordered seem very sturdy and look very nice. I just placed an order for four more.

Replaced a broken latch on an old French Door
The home I purchased five years ago is nearly forty years old. The French Doors were installed about 25 years ago. One of the latches broke. I found the correct replacement for the latch by using Google's image search feature having uploaded a photo of one of the latches. That search brought me to Amazon, where a vendor was selling the same latch. Easy to install and very sturdy.

Replacement parts
I ordered these to replace a broken one. The old ones were not made very well. The new ones could possibly be made better. But they were easy to replace and match perfectly.

Poor Quality
These things are super cheap. I've gone through four of them now in a year and a half. They seem sturdy at first, but become loose after some use and eventually the handle just rips right off. Poorly made China crap

Very nice but not strong
Beautiful finish, fast shipping but one of the handles broke off in 2 days. Can't be bothered sending it back.
