Goes with everything and in only 90 seconds in the microwave. A staple for someone who hates to cook or for those who are short on time or those who need something handy at work or those who need a serious side dish to go with any meat. I also eat this by itself or with salad or with olives. This stuff is literally great with anything. The butter and garlic is my fave flavor but Uncle B has others that are good too.

Alone this product tastes very chemically but if you add other food to it it's much better tasting. I made a really good tasting fried rice that took no time in making. Add some Soy sauce and cut up fresh veggies and it's very good, just don' eat it out of the package or you will be disappointed.

The best Uncle Ben's Rice! Perfect every time and it taste fantastic! We absolutely love it!!! We'll be buying more! It's a staple in our house.

This is great, quick side dish or snack. I first bought from a large grocery chain and it was like a brick. these came in soft and fresh.

What I liked was the ease to cook. The taste was a little bland

This is the second worst tasting rice I have ever eaten, It said butter and garlic flavored it's more like plastic flavored. I wouldn't feed this to my worst enemy. I understand it's precooked but man I would not buy this product ever again. I am a Soldier who is deployed and I bought this rice thinking it was going to be better than eating a Meal Ready To Eat (MRE) because I don't like those either but this rice tasted so bad that now I would eat a thousand MRE's before I eat this rice again. I and very disappointed in this product I always use the uncle bens products but this one gets 1000 thumbs down.

I realize this is rice out of a pouch but it is surprisingly good!

I priced these at the grocery store the other day...discovered it sells for $1.88 each! You get [email protected] and some change...a better deal!I often have something in the fridge but incomplete without a starch. In addition, I am usually in the middle of something and can't stop.This rice fought the hungries for me last week when lunch was 3 hours past due. I added some leftover turkey, SW spices, a can of tomatoes and had an improvised Spanish rice. The garlic flavor was a bonus which concerned me when considering the order.I enjoyed the meal, albeit not home-cooked but cheaper than takeout and healthier than snacks. The Subscribe and Save program is a real benefit to me since I live over 20 miles to the nearest grocery store and save time and money by using it. Amazon to the rescue--again!
