Works pretty darn well
I have a car from 2004. There is no Bluetooth, no aux in, and no tape deck (for the tape adapters). I didn't want one of the units that plugs into the 12v/lighter since it would interfere with my phone mount - luckily this one functions by cable or on battery. I wasn't sure how well it would work based on existing reviews. Turns out it works well with the right station choice. I cannot speak to the battery life, since I'm running it wired.Pros:• Compact and easy to mount• Easy setup• Simple configurationCons:• Wish it was USB C• No lock, so an errant tap can change the frequency• Wish it would automatically turn off after a while while plugged in (it does automatically turn off when on battery)Overall, I'm very pleased. It's temporary for the 2004 until I upgrade the head unit, when it'll go into a car from 1985.

Worked in our Bugatti Veyron
The radio in the Bugatti Veyron is not the best , even since new. I took a chance on this inexpensive gadget and it works perfectly. It’s so easy to use and so small . It’s not as good as something hardwired but it’s not bad . We streamed itunes and it sounded really good . You can’t beat it especially for 30 bucks or whatever it was .

Decent product ... Just quiet.
I bought one of these for my aging car so that I can listen to podcasts while driving. My current vehicle has a stero that forgot the aux jack and rather than pay a tech a few hundred $$ to fix it, I bought this.It works.Overall, I'll say the unit functionally works well. I have it plugged into a cig-to-USB power source. When I turn the car on, it starts up fine. My phone has no issue connecting without needing interaction. I can play audio from my phone no problem. When I turn the car off, it eventually shuts down. This is all solid and I really like simplicity of it as it kind of becomes a part of how the car works, rather than another thing to maintain. One note: I do have Bluetooth for phone calls in my car (just not playing audio from my phone). Since there are controls for my phone on my steering wheel, I disabled calls going to this device in the Bluetooth settings on my phone. That allows me to answer calls using the cars controls and not go through this device. Therefore, I cannot speak to how well it handles calling. The one odd thing I've noticed is that it broadcasts fairly quiet. In my case, the audio from my phone has to be about 95% and the audio from my car needs to be turned up to 40% or so to really hear it. By comparison, I usually have audio for my phone around 20% when listening, and I normally listen to the radio in my car at about 12%. Thus, if I ever change FM channels, I need to be careful to turn the volume down first or I may scare myself. The sound level was not something that made it worth returning though. It meets my needs - even with this one quirk - and for the price, I was fine with it. It definitely beats out paying a tech to reprogram the radio.Lastly, know that I did write the company about the issue and we tried replacing it with a different unit. I had the same issue with the replacement. It was also replicated on a different phone.Regardless, while not perfect, it is good enough for me and I'd still recommend it to others looking for a similar solution as something to try.

Works Great!! Multiple Cars!
Great Bluetooth FM transmitter. Using it in my classic 2000 Pontiac Firebird to connect my smartphone. Works so well that I bought another one for the 2011 Porsche Panamera. Microphone works really well for voice-commands and voice-texting as well, even when the unit is under the dash. Very happy with the purchase and will buy again for the next classic. NOTE: The key for the best performance with these units is using the most obscure/least used frequency as possible. If you're getting static, try another frequency.

good product but system volume very low
This is a very easy to use blue-tooth car radio adapter, I found it to be best used when connected to the power cable, as if it were an antenna, when I disconnect the power cable, the noise increases. Or I have to maintain physical contact with the unit to keep a continuous good reception. I suggest you just put this thing in your inner pocket while driving, the reception could be better. The biggest problem is its system notification is very very soft, and there is no way to turn up its volume, when I use it to listen to music from my phone, I can barely hear the system notification, not that it really matters, but it's a bug I think. Also the touch screen is kind of annoying because you can accidentally touch it and change the station frequency while driving, which has happened quite a few times.

Good for older cars
So glad I purchased this item! I have an older car that doesn't automatically turn off the cigarette port when the car is turned off. That is why I decided to go with this chargeable device to prevent car battery drainage. This device is easy to use and takes up hardly any space. The on and off button is super responsive and acts quickly, so you don't have to wait more than 1 second to turn it on or off. You can stick it anywhere with the 3M adhesive velcro. The sound quality is excellent for operating as an FM transmitter (sounds like FM radio). My recommendation is to upgrade the micro usb port to a USB-C for future models.

Caught on FIRE!!!
I have had this product for about 2 months. It worked ok while it worked and then it suddenly caught on fire. Luckily my car is ok but my hand got burned. Do not buy this product.

Great Bluetooth to FM transmitter
We have an old radio in our control room at work that we use for radio. This little transmitter works great for being able to turn that radio into a Bluetooth speaker. If you’re looking for a small cheap way to transmit your Bluetooth over FM, this is the way to go.
