Catnip only affects cats for a couple minutes. Had a cat still rolling around sniffing this stuff when I came back 30 minutes after putting it in a cat toy. They love it.

Bought it for our cat for christmas... first off, some peoples' cats don't care for this just like they may not care for catnip. If you have never given your cat silvervine, just pick up some of the sticks first and see if they like them.We opened the container in a room with the door closed when it first arrived just to ensure its contents. I quickly resealed it but that initial bit of poofy dust that whispered out of the container was unable to be removed. I hid the package under my desk. When we let our cat back in the room with us, he looked puzzled and kept sniffing the area. He quickly found the spot where the particles of this stuff fell on the floor and rolled all over it. Then, he went straight under my desk to try to find the package. We continued hiding it around the house, and he was always finding it, until Christmas Day.When I finally opened the can in front of him for Christmas to see what he would think of this incredible amount of silvervine dust, the very first thing he did was lean his whole face over and dip it in the container. The silvervine powder made a large brown print on his facial fur and he made the funniest face at us like he wasn't sure what he had just done yet but he knew it was getting intense af. And he stayed there in a kitty loaf next to us for about 3 hours. He seemed very satisfied, albeit a bit stoic even after we dusted the silvervine off his face.It took a couple days for him to be interested in things sprinkled with it again. I think he unexpectedly realized he did too much and just needed a break. Now he knows his tolerance so we can keep a fresh stock of this silvervine powder for him all the time

I have 2 senior cats who have never liked catnip. I heard about silvervine and I wanted to give an organic powder a shot. My cats seem to really like this powder! I sprinkle a little bit on a toy or a paper towel and they will roll in it and it seems to make them really happy.Pros: Seems to really work, you get a LOT for your money, and it can be used to bond with your cat (I use it when I want to brush them, they’re long haired and sometimes brushing is a chore, so this makes the experience better for me and them).Cons: As other reviews mentioned the packaging isn’t great, it spills really easily (imagine baking flour being packed tight into a tiny tin that takes a bit of effort to unscrew) so each time you open it you lose a little bit in the process.Overall 4/5 stars! Will be buying again in the future. But that won’t be for a while because you get so much product!

Hey kid, you looking to get high? If your cat is suffering from the experience of going through their days sober and bored, this is the product for you! If catnip is like marijuana, silvervine is freebase crack. Smells crazy and will get you followed around like the Pied Piper. This is a small but packed little can of powdered “holy crap he’s never done THAT before! Why am I bleeding?” This stuff is great, just shake a little powder out on a toy or bed or innocent victim, sneeze a lot, and let the chaos ensue. My cats love it so much they dove headfirst through a tv and shattered it without even SLOWING DOWN! If you want to watch your cat commune with the insect gods and decide to wage holy war upon them, buy silvervine! And a riot shield.

Regular catnip does nothing for either of my cats so I thought I’d give this a try. Well, it didn’t send them to the roof and excitement. They did find it more appealing than regular catnip.

Excellent product and excellent seller. My cat lost motivation after we moved, he didn't respond to toys, treats or cat nip. It's been 3 months and he is gaining weight, although I have adjusted his food intake, I can see him getting thick like a barrel. THIS PRODUCT REINSTATED MY CATS HAPPINESS..... after introducing him to this, he is now back to playing with his toys, jumping, interested, eating on a regular schedule and generally happy again. Life has returned for my sweet baby boy thanks to this product. If your cat is suffering from depression, try to reignite him/her with this stuff. All cats react different, but this is worth a try.
