Amazing saw after calibration.
This saw took a morning to set up, the rail system is very robust, the motor is very powerful and the soft start is nice, the table and fence were dead on square. The dust collection is good, my saw came with upgraded support arms. Once calibrated the saw cut perfectly and repeatedly and cut through hardwood with ease. Downsides are aluminium detent plate, it should be steel at the this price. No shadow light, and fence extenders were unfortunaly not square.

though I had ordered the LS1219L/2 model with the laser. I decided to keep it in the end. Only had it a week it is a good saw but dose any one know if I can upgrade it to have the laser.

Cuts a 100mm x 200mm sleeper with ease
Brilliant saw. Easy to set up. Slightly fiddly keeping the guard out the way to change the blade but seriously minor point. Cuts larger than a 92mm depth too. I cut a full to size 100 x 200mm sleeper like butter.

What a Beast
Got mine on a Deal because the Box was wrecked, But the saw only had a wee tiny mark so bargain.It's Heavy, Sturdy and makes a lovely whirring noise when you turn the Bed.The fact that it can be pushed nearly all the way back to the wall because of the rail design is a bonus.

Impressive bit of kit
I have been considering buying this saw for approx 5 years but couldn't justify the extra cash it costs.. I should have bought it 5 years ago- its amazing!\Exceptionally accurate- Pleasantly heavy and came out the box square and ready to use,
