I got a new mattress after a car accident, and while I like firm, it's far too firm. Maybe it just needs breaking in, so I thought well a topper usually takes care of that issue while the mattress breaks in. So, of course I came here to look for what I needed. I thought, oh this might be not thick enough, and what's up with the circles? But, I knew a 3" foam was too soft even on a firm bed, and didn't think the 1" Walmart special would be quite enough, so I ordered this and crossed my fingers it would be just right. When I got it and unrolled it, it slowly inflated, and I layed it out and put a fan on it all day. Fanned it about 12 hours. Right before bed, I put it on the bed, and lol and behold, this was exactly it. I could finally sleep, and sleep on my sides without my shoulders and hips aching! I even slept a 6 hour stretch, which for me right now is a literal Christmas miracle. The topper doesn't stink or have that smell, so far it's durable, fits exactly perfect on the bed, and for the price, it's been worth every penny to me. My body is thanking me and I've been actually sleeping through the night, which I sorely need, especially after a day of PT. I even just layed in my bed and played games- something I never imagined myself doing. If you, like me, are on the fence and know 2-3" is just too soft, try this one out.

Why I purchased: I have a very bad back: upper spine issues when mattress is too firm and lower back issues when mattress is too soft. I was looking for a thin cushion that would soften my firm mattress while I could keep the support. For perspective / comparison I am 5’2” and about 105lbs.My experience has been a positive one with this mattress topper. I have tried 3 before this one and they were all too thick for my needs. This has done what it says (softens the bed). I selected the 1.5 inch aloe (I honestly was looking for a 1 inch but with the indentations this is about the same). It softens the mattress while leaving some support of the firm mattress below.)I followed the instructions and letting it rise for a few days. (I actually forgot about it so it sat open for a bit longer than the instructions suggested, but I think that was a plus.) There was no odor to the material (that I could detect). Texture wise I can feel the ripples under the sheets, but it doesn’t bother me. I don’t think the different zones do anything.As for pain relief, I still have issues, but that is because of my body, not the topper. I think the topper is helping. I cannot speak on longevity of this product. I have been using it for about a month and I am happy. I don’t expect it to last a super long time based on the other reviews, but I can buy a lot of them for the cost of a new mattress. :) It was worth trying to me and I’m happy. I’d recommend and I’d buy again.

Ok, so I love this bed topper. It took me some time to get adjusted (due to previous injuries) to it but after that 2 days it was very comfortable to sleep on. My only big problem is that it move around since has no grip. So it's hassle having to fix it all the time because it's slipping off the mattress. The good thing is that it forces you to spread your bed. For the price I got it for, it's worth it.

I got this for my daughter to go to college as I was told that mattresses on dorms are usually crappy so I decided to buy a mattress topper. They are very expensive, so when. I found this one for half the price and being 4 inches tall I figured it was worth a try. I unpacked at the dorm and it looked so squished and flimsy that I thought it was going to be horrible. After less than 2 hours it had doubled its size and by the time we left it was as it's full capacity. My daughter called me the next day and said her bed (mattress topper) was extremely comfortable and better than the one at home. She actually told me I am taking this everywhere I move to including back home. Definitely a winner!😊

Our queen mattress is too hard and this foam topper provides just enough softness to make the mattress comfortable. It provides some support, and the hip pain I was dealing with due to the hardness of the mattrress is gone! I now get a good night sleep on this topper. By the way, the size is perfect, and there is no odor at all.

This is not bad. It fits my bed almost fully (the top part,where my pillows are, are not covered) and gives a good cushion. I only have a few issues with it. The design is a little weird and I do not notice any benefit other than them using less materials to make the design. Another issue is the sliding, it seems to slide around over the course of a few days. Other than that it is a good buy!

When I got this, I thought “oh boy this is gonna be one of those firm things that’s gonna kill me tonight”.After sleeping on it, I will never buy another mattress topper but this one! It was very comfortable and my hips and lower back never hurt once!It did not take a few nights to get used to. First night, awesome results.I have bilateral hip dysplasia and degenerative disc disease and this mattress topper is a lifesaver for my hip and back!
