Many years ago I was having heel pain and my two siblings were experiencing the same symptoms. It became too painful to be on my feet shopping for more than ten or fifteen minutes. My siblings went to foot doctors for treatment. One of them was treated with orthotic shoes and the other had a doctor that explained how to wrap the foot in a way that adds arch support, I oot lucky when a friend recommended that I try these exact show inserts. The first time I wore them I was afraid that extra support in the arch would be too much, but by the end of the end of the day my feet felt better. It took very little time before the pain was gone. I bought sever pair of the inserts to be sure I was never without one. I wore them for approximately five years and started to become confident that I no longer needed them. Now (approx. 25 or 30 years later( I can feel the need for that support again. The Planters Fasciitis has not come back, but I know my shoes are not giving me enough support. I guess I started to forget what happened in the past and started to be less particular about my shoes. I just bought this pair and am loving them again. If you are suffering from the same condition, be sure to purchase the 3/4 length!

I sell shoes for a living. I needed a new 3/4 length in-sole, and the brand we have at my store don't work for my arch type. I have a med-high arch. I enjoy wearing cute shoes that don't always have much support so I buy 3/4 length in-soles for them. These in-soles have great support and are very comfortable. Be careful wearing these at first, it does take a day or two to get use to them. I recommend wearing them at home for short periods of time before wearing them all the time. Your feet will need to get use to the new type of in-sole, mine hurt a bit the first couple of times I wore them but now I can't wear shoes without them. I love this in-sole. The only down side is, I can see them breaking down quickly and not lasting more than 5-6 months with constant use, longer if you only wear them in certain shoes. These are great insoles for such a cheap price!

Provided instant relief for my foot pain. Fit into any closed toed shoe I place them into. My foot doctor provided me the name of this brand to buy.

Having plantar fasciitis these are the best insoles, been buying them for many years.

I greatly prefer this stiff but spongy support to the hard plastic orthotics I've tried in the past. I used them to get rid of a case of plantar fasciitis, and continue to use them (for several years now) because they help support my feet at the angle that works for me with a high arch, rather than the angle most shoes come in. Since the arch support is a dense foam, it gives in just the right way, where a hard plastic orthotic does not.I would prefer the full length ones, except that my feet are wide at the toes, and I need all the space I can get in the toe area, hence I get these 3/4 length ones. Each time I put on my shoes, I make sure they are pulled all the way back to the heel.Each new pair of shoes gets a new set. I used to be able to find them at sports stores, but now only at hospital supply pharmacies, and here at Amazon.

The first time I order this orthotic it was like the pictured item, plastic on the bottom. Second order has a foam bottom (no plastic). I really like the plastic bottom product better. It supports the arch of the feet better. My opinion is that I don't think the foam arch will be very good support over a duration in my walking shoes.Seller: do you still sell the pictured orthotic?I want a refund. Amazon will not let me return this item.Update: The product photo has been changed to the item I received. Still don't like this one.

I am giving these a 3 because I received my 1st pair of 3/4 and love them. I ordered another pair and got the wrong ones. I did a return and ordered again and again received the wrong one, they are not 3/4. I am truly frustrated I can't seem to get the right ones. Amazon customer service said to order from another seller. I would like Spenco to make it right and send me the correct ones, 3/4!
