Monopoly Gamer Overwatch Collector's Edition Board Game for Ages 13 and Up Gift for Overwatch Players

Excellent version of the monopoly gamer series. Some of the most noticable changes are as follows.You're given a team of 3, 1 leader represented by the game pieces, and 2 other characters represented by character cards. The die roll for abilities is replaced with damage dealer, healer, and tank symbols. So unlike your other versions of monopoly gamer that activate various traps and projectiles this version activates one of the abilities on your team of 3 to use. These abilities can do various things such as heal your HP, deal out damage to other players, protect you from damage, and many other abilities.Your currency is an HP value instead of gold or cash value. The HP caps out at 25, and all other recieved hp goes to the bank. You can easily house rule change this, but there is a reason for the 25 cap. Once you start running out of "money" you have to eliminate one of your team members to be given 5 HP to pay your debts. These team members are eliminated until you pass go. Exhausting all of your team then has you sell your objectives (which are properties). So the HP cap of 25 really changes the tide of battle. You can go from dominating to losing within a few turns if luck is not on your side.Free Parking has the ability to allow you the free option of swapping any one property (objective) you own with the property of one other player. No matter which property it is. The player must accept the trade. Very rage inducing, but fun game change for Free Parking.Loot Crates/boxes are the main goal of this game. You're given 1 each time you pass GO. These boxes provide bonus point values that are tallied up at the end of the game. So the true goal of Overwatch gamer is to prevent the other players from benefiting from any Loot boxes they get. No matter what you'll want to ruin the HP value of your opponent so that they will lose their properties, not have access to their team skills, and with luck send them to jail to make their journey to obtain Loot boxes.The alternate ways of play are very fun. You can do a blind draw of team leaders and team mates to really change up how your team plays. There is a 6v6 mode for 2 players, and honestly anything you can think of when it comes to house rules.The game pieces (miniatures) are amazingly well detailed to be given as board game pieces. These miniatures alone would be worth purchasing this game for any fan of Overwatch. They're roughly the size of 25mm wargaming miniatures, and would look great on a shelf. The HP pieces are also plastic instead of the standard cardboard or paper currency pieces.My suggestion to any fan of monopoly gamer is to buy this immediately. You will love the game changes, the miniatures representing the leaders, and the overall representation. Amazing quality for an awesome price.

I received this as a gift which was great. I had a few different Monopoly Games in the past, such as LOTR (Lord of The Rings) and a Millionaire Edition with cards instead of paper money or power (LOTR version of Money). The Life Point chips is a much easier way to manage the amount you amass and also easier to figure out how to spend or save your funds.

I've typically never been super impressed with the franchise spins on classic games, but I've been very surprised at how this little idea came out. If you didn't know this was Monopoly, you'd think it was a great board game implementation of Overwatch, and if you didn't know Overwatch, you'd think it was a very interesting, fun, and unique twist on Monopoly, and I think this is truly what makes this game shine.The rules are pretty simple. I play with my 3 year old... She usually doesn't have the attention for a full game, but the rules are simple enough that she knows what to do to play a few rounds which is truly impressive.

My family is a MONOPOLY family and we have most of the games, but when I bought this Overwatch Monopoly game, it took the cake. WE LOVE IT. Recommended for 13+, but my kids are 9 and 10yrs old and grasped the concept and love the diversity and characters. This is a mush have, must buy, must play! I highly recommend this game and the seller to any and everyone that loves to have fun and loves MONOPOLY! Get it, you won't be disappointed. I hope they add additional power packs and character cards in the future.

Interesting game that passes the time and it doesn't take as long as the original game. So you can play more than one game in an evening. We usually do best of 3.

My daughter and her boyfriend love to play both video games and board games. This game combines both together in one game. They both loved the figures that came with the game and playing the game itself.

Bought this as a gift for an Overwatch fan and he loves it. It's a little bit different than traditional monopoly but it's really fun.

Great game that has the basic monopoly gameplay of property management, but speed up and with some fun twists related to the overwatch characters. I hate regular monopoly because it’s too slow, so this is a nice change of pace. Being overwatch themed is a huge bonus, since it’s one of my favorite games!I will say, if you’re hoping for classic monopoly with an overwatch theme, this is NOT the game for you as the rules are different enough to likely turn you off to it.
