Why did I buy it?
I make toys for my kid with teak wood for fun. I have no use for this. Its plasticky, low power and I have never used a router before. But I purchased it inorder to spend tens of thousands of rupees in making a very elaborate 316 grade stainless steel router lift table with a crank shaft operating bevel gears to adjust the height of the router. The table weighs nearly 25kg.Yes. I literally purchased this garbage just to make the stainless steel router table. It was a huge challenge given that not many machines parts and skilled fabricators are available in india. But it was fun to make, made friends, and learnt a lot in the process.And now both table and router are collecting dust in some forgotten corner...Yes, I am an engineer. Yes I like adventures in stupidity.
