Dr. Martens unisex-adult 2976 Quad Chelsea Boot

The boots look great and fits true to size, they feel great to wear as well. Definitely get it on sale if you can though, the boots are well made but the value is better on sale.

These boots are fantastic, but make sure to measure your feet before ordering! I HAD TO SIZE DOWN.I’m usually a size 8 women’s, but when the size 8 arrived, I could immediately tell that they were too large. I ordered a size 7, and they’re perfect.My best advice is to size down, but before you do, use the SIZING CHART - I wish I had to start!Copy and paste the name of this boot into google, and go on Doc Marten’s site. They’ll have a size chart in inches for the boot size. I found out that I’m a 7 in DM simply because the size 7 is 9.88 inches, 8 is 10.21 inches, and my feet using a ruler measure in at 9.75 inches. I never wound have known if not for measuring and using the chart - as I always wear an 8 but here had to go with 7.

The best. Used them for 2 years they’re in great shape. Didn’t take any breaking in.

I started to send back because it was extremely tight trying to get on and I put my feet to the outside of the sole and saw that the shoe wasn’t too small as I assumed. So I started bending the shoe and had my grandson help me get it on and it was actually roomy for my size 7 so there will be plenty of room to put socks on with the shoe. I own another pair of lace up Doc Marten from 1993 and I have not worn them out and still trying. Let me say this IT IS WORTH THE MONEY BECAUSE YOU ARE GETTING A QUALITY SHOE WHICH YOU WILL HAVE A HARD TIME WEARING THEM OUT BECAUSE THEY LAST FOREVER!!!! So when you read the reviews just know that there will always be someone complaining about this or that and since I have no pony in this race then I AM BEING COMPLETELY HONEST WITH YOU AND YOU WON’T GO WRONG BUYING ANY DOC MARTENS SHOE WEAR JUST GET YOUR REAL SHOE SIZE AND FIGHT TO GET THEM ON INITIALLY UNTIL THEY BREAK IN OR MINK OIL TO LOOSEN UP THE LEATHER BECAUSE YOU WILL BE GLAD YOU DID!!!

don’t let the bad reviews sway you yet! these turned out to be my favorite & most comfortable docs!as other reviewers have mentioned, yes the leather is super stiff & hard to get your feet in, at least until they’re broken in. i could only get one boot on without actual physical pain..yikes..HOWEVER, once i got my foot inside they fit perfectly! so i knew there was hope about making these work.the putting on / taking off process was an absolute pain, i don’t even have particularly wide feet or a high instep so i assume mostly everyone has this issue with this specific boot? if you can manage to wear these enough or put them on/off enough to break them in on your own KUDOS to you, i couldn’t.. so here’s the solution!the tennis ball hack would be great if that’s where the shoe was tight on me but they’re not. they fit perfectly when my foot is all the way in. instead they were super duper extremely & ridiculously tight as soon as i’d try to slide my heel in. it was definitely the opening & ankle area that was the problem.i was able to slide my foot into the tightest and most painful position during putting them on & hold them there. i used my blow dryer to heat the leather with my foot in that position. i did that all over the ankle area for about 5 mins each, i was able to slide my foot down a tiny bit more and more without pain as they were being heated. after that i let them cool off back to room temperature with my feet still inside them in that awkward halfway position. when i took my foot out and compared my blow dried boot the the one i hadn’t done yet you could see around the ankle area it loosened up and was a bit wider. i tried putting that one on fully & it popped right on like a charm! i did my other one & had the same result.i have absolutely zero problems with getting these on and off now & i love them so much!! i tried everything for these before trying the heating method, it was the only thing that worked for me. hope this helps someone!

Perfect height, not too tall, not too short. The breaking in process was less painful than I anticipated, the price is worth it. the quality is wonderful

The media could not be loaded. I own 10 pairs of docs that I bought in the past two years.. not sure why I took so long to get these Chelsea quads but they are now my absolute favorite pair of docs ever!!! My Leona boots were my #1 fave but now these Chelsea’s will go everywhere with me 🤭If you’re debating whether you should get this or not.. DO IT!!! You will not regret it, not only are they super beautiful but they are comfortable as well.

Material felt extremely stiff and it was almost impossible to put them on. I am not sure if these were original dc martens.
