Pretty Bird International Bpb73313 Species Specific African Bird Food With Extra Calcium, 3-Pound

My female African Grey loves these pellets. We have used them for years, and she is a healthy 34 year old bird. I’ve tried many other pellets, but she only likes these.

The food was stale, the odor when I opened the bag was immediate. The expiration date is 2028 but it is definitely bad, I've never had this problem with Pretty Bird before and don't know if it is the product or seller. I will be buying from a local pet store and won't buy ahead,

My amazon is 45 yrs. old (I've had for 41) and my conure is 21. Both are in perfect health. Pretty Bird is of coarse not the only thing they eat, but it is the only pellet they will eat. That's important, because it's the only component of their diet that I KNOW is providing all the minerals, trace elements and other nutrients that they need daily. And the fact that they will eat and have eaten for 30 years means a lot. Bogart and Cleo give it 12 claws up.

The bag was open when we received it & food was everywhere inside the packaging.
