Q: what is the size of the hat at full width?

It’s approx 36cm. Brim is a bit floppy in the wind but overall it’s a v effective sunhat.

Q: Is this machine washable?

I’ve just looked at the label in mine and it says it is machine washable at 30°. It’s a great hat

Q: Are these same hats available but without the mesh at the top? As made in entirely solid fabric? Thanks

dont know but I find the mesh is excellent at keeping you cool

Q: What width is the brim in cm please?

Sorry cant tell you the width of the Brim. I use this hat on my allotment it does have a nice wide brim in my opinion and the added flap at the back to cover your neck wich can be concealed in a pocket in the Brim. Another nice feature is the ventilated band that you see in the pictures. I think its a good quality product for the money I would say order it as I think you would like it you can always return it if not satisfied.
