Scotts Porridge Oats - 1.1 lbs (500gm)

A friend brought us a box from Scotland and it was the best. It is rather pricey and the box doesn't ship that well. But I will keep buying this porridge. Easy to make - smooth texture and great flavor.

Had porridge for the first time on a recent trip to England and found that I muchprefer the taste and texture compared to oatmeal.Some people might disagree but for me porridge is delicious and oatmeal tastes like sawdust.

This is the porridge oats of any typical Scottish childhood. Quick and easy to make, and a hearty start to your day that will stick with you through lunchtime. Try it w/ salt instead of sugar!

There were a lot of good reviews so I decided to try porrage. HORRIBLE. Just the worst consistency. Turned to glue. Expensive! Horrible! And what to do with it all? I made some bannocks. I was really disappointed. This was a coronavirus induced purchase. I would NEVER reorder. Give me good old overnight oats. Can't wait until the supermarkets are stocked and I feel safe shopping.

Product is what it says it is.Packaging is good.I gave low marks for how long it takes to come.I nearly missed the package coming before I flew back home to Scotland !

Takes me back 50 years or more. Still the great staple I ate for breakfast many days while growing up in the U.K. Product is as I recall and seemed extremely fresh contrary to some of the reviewers experience here.
