Perfect fit and function on Gen 2 pokemon and a few other gameboy games I used them on. Be wary of force fitting a cartridge back together if you use them for Gen 3 Pokemon.

These are a bit smaller than the original, but they still work great, I haven't had any issues with gameplay functionality or saving after replacing with these batteries.

Used this to replace some game boy game batteries, I got the battery number from the battery in the game and had no issues.Keep in mind some newer games take a slightly smaller battery. Check first before buying.

Installation was straightforward and all the batteries were charged. My old Pokémon games can now save again. It would have been 5 stars, but I only received 11 in the pack, when it should have been 12.
