I absolutely LOVE this bluetooth adapter which I am using in my Ferrari California. It only took a few seconds to install (just plug in to the 30 pin adapter in the globe box, connect to bluetooth and you're good to go!). The sound quality is clear and crisp, responsiveness to changing songs on my iPhone is fast and track/playlist display works great on my head unit. Steering wheel controls and head unit buttons work properly to change tracks.I've used this with an iPhone 5S (iOS 12), iPhone 6S (iOS 13) and iPhone XR (iOS 13). I've found that with iOS 12 there's a few quirks with COM errors occurring requiring a disconnect/reconnect with bluetooth. With iOS 13 devices, 99% of the time the device works perfectly. Once in a while (maybe one out of 50 times), you may run into a very minor quirk where the display shows "Paused" when music is actually still actively playing. The COM error has only showed up one time using iOS 13 devices so I consider that more of a fluke than a problem. I'm highlighting this quirks to be transparent, but I do not believe these are device issues, I believe this have to do with my vehicle's head unit itself, despite being a several hundred thousand dollar vehicle the head unit is mediocre at best and has an old style clunky interface. I find it much easier to use an old iPhone 6S (or some other device with at least iOS 13) and navigate your playlist, songs, etc. directly on the iPhone/iPod. I do not have an Android unit available so can't speak to that compatibility, though I would assume it would function the same as the iPhone.As an important side-note, I reached out to this seller / manufacturer prior to purchase as I was concerned it was simply a rebranded Bovee unit which was terrible (required disconnecting and reconnecting the unit EVERY single time I started the car). This seller assured me that wasn't the case and responded to my messages quickly, clearly and in a friendly manner EVERY single time we interacted via e-mail. They were absolutely ROCK STARS when it came to communications and support. I did a lot of research before buying this and was hoping i would not need a power adapter to make this work. I was wrong. My car wouldnt power the device until a power adapter was added. After the new adapter is in place, everything works great. Sound quality is good enough for bluetooth, only issue is a slight hissing noise in the background. However, once your music comes on you will not be able to hear the hiss anymore. Device connects within 30 seconds of turning my car on and starts automatically playing which is why i bought this device.The customer service for this product is truly top notch. They sent me a free adapter that had some build quality issues, but it was FREE. Most companies wouldnt take responsibility for my car's issues but they did in order to keep me happy and i was impressed.Its also worth noting that this device is a cheaper alternative to a well known manufacturer of these products and im glad i went with this one, it does everything advertised for cheaper than the competition. Overall would recommend for anyone looking to add bluetooth to an old ipod stereo.

For aftermarket CarPlay screen-dash mounted: Invery instructions are not completely accurate. Have an older vehicle w/ a multi disc changer. Removed from disc service an added a 30 pin adapter to the disc changer. (has an excellent processor) Later, had to add a 30 pin to Lightning (audio version) adapter for iPhones w/ Lightning ports. Son recently upgraded to iPhone 16 Pro. This required a Usb-C adapter and was an adapter too far. Removed the Lighting and UsB-C adapter. Connected 30 pin to Invery (audio for car). Followed directions-would not connect. Next day, flipped the switch and tried the not recommended iPod setting. Hooked right up. The Bluetooth works well. Love the product, but the directions need updating.

DOES NOT WORK WITH VOLVO IPOD ADAPTER. ANY P2 Chassis Volvos even with the recommended and additional Power pass through.2001-2007 Volvo V70, XC70, XC90, S60, S80. This will not and does not work.Buy a round modbus cable Bluetooth interface from elsewhere. V I V A P E R F O R M A N C E.

Works great and easy to set up. Only thing, and this may be my car, is 75% of the time I get an error on my instrument cluster where it shows whatever song is playing.

Works perfectly with the genuine Mazda iPod integration kit without needing the power injection adapter that some other iPod integration kits need.Audio quality is also superb from an iPhone. I was worried about it since iPhones have more limited Bluetooth codec capabilities compared to Android phones.“General mode” seems to work better than “iPod mode” for some reason. Song track seeking for MP3s played back from the Apple Music app behaves strangely on “iPod mode” but behaves normally on “general mode”.

I have a 2010 A5 with only a apple old school connector, so this works for me, but if I leave my phone in my left pocket, it fails to connect reliably when installed in my glovebox. Seems pretty good overall. Reconnects automatically and works pretty good with Audible. (my main use)

I was looking for something for my 2010 Porsche Cayenne GTS as it does not have capability to play Bluetooth music. This device easily fixed that issue by connection into the cars iPod cable and the sound quality is wonderful, better than the stock radio! The seller was very helpful in getting the device setup and very responsive. If you are looking to keep your stock head unit and have Bluetooth music capability, I would highly suggest taking a look at Invery. Great technology and quality!
