Best oscillating tool. Forget Fein, Milwaukee, DeWalt.
Wow what a great tool and great value. I owned the original MM. And I mean the OG MM before they started numbering them. This tool is more powerful, easier to change blades, and has a pretty amazing vibration counterbalance that really works.Anyone saying that this is a hobbyist or maker tool hasn't used it. I'm a professional home rehab artist, and this thing works better than the Milwaukee and DeWalt. It also comes stock with several blades that would otherwise retail for maybe $30-35.The tool less blade change is fairly solid. The angled blade has gotten some criticism from some you tubers, but I don't think they get it. If you're trying to flush cut real tight, it's much better to have that angled blade to help get really low without having your fingers prevent the blade from getting as close to the workpiece as required. The cord would benefit from an extra 2ft of length, but easily fixed with $3 extension from harbor freight.Great oscillating tool that is a better value than everything else on the market.

Another well made Dremel product
Over the years I've found Dremel products to be well made and durable. My original Dremel tool is probably 20 years old at this point and works well. The Multi-Mate continues with the tradition. Like most Dremel stuff its just handy and when you need it you need it. Consider it as a gift for the guy that has a lot of tools but doesn't have one of these.

Good tool
I'm still getting the hang of it. It'd not meant for wood over 1/2 inch. I have sanded, cut metal and trimmed gate posts. Love the easy on and off of tool accessories.

Powerful tool, solidly built but the blades sit crooked to the side
The day that I received this tool, I immediately reordered for a replacement because the blade does not sit straight, i.e. perpendicular to the tool (i.e. see photo where I put the blade on a very straight iron bracket.) It is offset just a little bit to the left and there is no way to make it straight, no matter how much the blade is tightened down. The replacement arrived two days later and IT TOO HAS A CROOKED BLADE. So annoying. So what happens is, if you are trying to slice into a piece of drywall and make a perfectly clean, sliced cut by going into the wall with the blade evenly resting against the wall straight across, you actually have to adjust the tool slightly at an angle to make sure it cuts straight and have the blade meet up with the wall all the way across. Not what you want to have to do when trying to make precision cuts. I am not going to bother returning for a third try and it isn't a big enough deal to return for a complete refund, but someone at Dremel needs to be aware of how these are being assembled. Maybe some sort of calibration on the assembly line is slightly off or something, because it seems odd that two tools in a row would have the same defect.**Edit** Someone asked if the blade can be mounted at a 90 degree angle, which it can. I've uploaded a couple photos.

As good as advertised
I am using it to repair an exterior door jam which rotted at the bottom and it is perfect. I don't know how I could cut out a piece and insert a new one without this tool. It cuts quickly and precisely.

Awesome
This tool has really come in handy for me. It works awesome! I've been able to remove an entire edge of subfloor close up to the wall. I've used it to remove door trim bottoms, to place laminate flooring under it, took seconds. It's a bit loud depending on what you are doing, I had to use ear protection. Gloves help a lot with grip, but feels good in the hands. Even for this 5' 2" lady. Glasses are smart, wearing a mask is a must when vibrating through old subfloor. The only thing I can say that is a tad negative about the tool, is that the on off switch is too easy to flip accidentally. I had my Dremel laying on the floor when I went to plug it in, some how I had the switch flipped to on. Needless to say it startled me and blade caught my pants a little. I'm okay! Another thing is the blade tightener can be hard as heck to loosen back up sometimes. Helps to use a pair of pliers to break loose.Over-all a great product! Thank you!
