Cuts like butter . Creates lots of fine dust. Tested without SawStop dust extraction blade guard

The amount of fine dust that this blade created was unsuitable for my in-home shop environment.=== SPECS OF TEST ENVIRONMENT===Review is based on performance in a SawStop 36" Professional SawStop Cabinet Saw, and tested with and without the standard blade guard, including additional 2-step dust collection built using a barrel, a Dust Deputy, and a 6 horsepower 12-14 gallon Shop Vac. Test was conducted with a clean OEM filter and a new OEM HEPA high efficiency filter bag.

Expensive but worth it.
This was a replacement blade for the SawStop's original 40bts that came with the saw. Appears to be true and easy to install. I haven't cut a lot with it but what I have the cutting was extremely smooth with no burning evident.Update: After using this blade several times it seems to be an excellent replacement. Not biting or pulling evident, the saw cuts through with minimal resistance leaving a nice clean cut. I have been able to cut less than 1/8 inch splices without issue.

Surprising quality
I just saved and saved and bought my sawstop. I got one blade with the saw and was so impressed with the cut quality I ordered this one. The blade seems on the same level as my nice forest blades, and as a product of sawstop I have confidence it is 100% compatible with their system.

As previous poster said, it does ring when there is nothing running through it, but unless you like to leave the saw on for long periods of time without cutting anything, the ringing is only a minor annoyance. On the other hand, it cut melamine with a near perfect edge. Way better than the default 40T blade that comes with the Saw Stop.

Options for your saw
This is a true premium blade just made for the SawStop. Easy mount/dismounting. You'll need it to go beyond the basic blade that comes with the SawStop system.

cuts plywood nicely
This is a good blade so far for cutting 3/4" plywood.... BUT it gives if a high pitched noise, never had a blade do that before. Not so good on thicker materials.
