Arrived in very protective packaging and antistatic bags. So far, they both have taken a full charge and holding the charge as expected. Obviously I will not be swapping batteries every day, so it will be a while until I know if they used grade A cells. The OEM battery was still accepting a partial charge being 12 years old unless it was changed for another OEM HP battery before I bought the laptop from an off lease commercial equipment recycler 8 years ago.

I thought my lap top died. Bought another lap top and then I realized maybe all I needed was a battery. That’s what it was. Ordered it that day. Arrived next day. Fast and convenient. Thank you Amazon.

Seems to be working as advertised for an HP Elitebook 8560w Workstation laptop battery replacement. The original 12 year old battery had finally given up. I took away 1 star on the rating because the text on the site says "Passed UL Testing: This hp elitebook 8560w battery has passed rigorous UL testing, ensuring its safety and reliability" BUT THERE IS NOT A UL MARK on the battery itself nor the box (the original HP did have a UL mark). So stating it is UL tested/pasted is misleading a bit because it must not be UL listed or else the UL mark would be on it.

The product was used to replace a failing battery in the laptop. Easy to install, instructions on how long to let it charge before using.

Battery don’t holding charge

Battery worked great for a couple of years, then battery life started to deteriorate. Now, it is completely dead and won't even power the laptop for 1 min. I would have expected the battery to last longer, but now I have to buy a new one again.

My original battery had been dead for the better part of the last 4 years! It would normally last about 5 minutes when unplugged from the wall. Then, the laptop started acting up, and would I stantly die when unplugged. Grabbed this battery, and not only does the battery work, and I can unplug my computer from the wall, but somehow it is actually running better! Maybe the dead battery was somehow making windows just go nuts? Don't know, but it works like new now! Not bad for an 8+yr old laptop!

We have always provided genuine HP batteries for our customer's laptops. We have not had good luck with most of the "Replacement" vendors on Amazon, NewEgg, etc. However the GHU batteries have been very good. On my own personal HP Probook 450, I was getting about 2 1/2 hours out of the original HP but I have yet to drain the GHU. Same size but a higher current capability. I have to wonder who makes "Genuine" HP batteries in the first place. I work 3-4 hours at a time and haven't hit bottom. I have now purchased four of them. They come packaged well and have had no problems. So far so good with GHU!
