Q: Greetings all, thanks for taking the time to reply. Is this game a rpg or a board game? Can it be played Solo?

It's kind of both. You could definitely stretch out the in town scenes into a full RPG, but when you enter the mines it becomes more of a board game. That's how I play it, though you could just run it as a board game as well. The characters can attain different powers, so two priests leveling wouldn't be exact matches (that's another RPG element). Solo- There is no reason this couldn't be done BUT I have to warn you, this game has a ton of stuff, and it only gets worse once you start adding the expansions/more baddies. There are so many cards to keep track of. I have 2 card holders, and by far spend the most of my GM time locating the correct ones. It can be very encompassing. If you're of the mind for something RPG/boardgame for combat, I would suggest mice and mystics. Same idea, much easier to implement. Hope it helps.

There are 4 doors (well, they`re arch ways really). They are beautifully rendered and paint up nicely.
