Wish I'd found this hide years ago!! There were a few edges that I sanded down with a nail file, but it was mostly for peace of mind. However, I did wash it before I put it in his cage. It's large enough for my 29” adult beardie to turn around inside and he slept in it the first night it was in there.

It’s just as described and very nice. A chunk broke off in shipping, but it wasn’t damaged enough to go through a return process.

The size is perfect for an adult bearded dragon! She needed an up grade and this was perfect. Just make sure to always wash any new products for your reptiles!

I finally unboxed this product and am very disappointed. The product received is not what is shown in the photos in the description. There is no rear opening. The inside of the cave has sharp protrusions and is cracked where fibers of interior materials are exposed. Multiple health hazards to an animal and a shame to waste a significant amount of money on an unusable product.

This is a great hide and the only reasonably priced one for how big my snake is! It's very smooth on the inside and out, it's not that heavy and just fits inside my 20gallon long tank! Only issue was it appears they have to grind or cut the mold of this so there was a lot of loose deris I had to wash off first, no smell though!

The media could not be loaded. beware, no returns allowed. the XL is very shallow and the opening is pretty small. I couldn’t tell the sizing from the other photos so I got both XL and XXL and now stuck with the XL. I wouldn’t recommend the XL unless you have a thin snake breed or one that burrows. I have a 2yo 3.5 foot ball python and the XXL is very large but it’ll probably fit him even when fully grown. opening is quite large so i do partially block it. these are really the only large natural looking hides on the market, and they’re decent. did have to file down some rough edges inside but coating makes it easy to clean and they are thick so no light shines through. i could easily fit two in his 55gal tank for hot and cold side.

Was able to super glue the little broken peice. Ill take it. Looks great other wise

This hide is the perfect size for a full grown bearded dragon. It arrived in excellent condition and very well packaged. Super impressed and happy with this purchase

I've been eyeing this cave for so long was about to not buy it but every pet store has very small cave, almost 70$ but was worth it to see my smaug happy the first picture was from this morning and the video from last night he is a very happy boi I'm very happy with my purchase.

Bought it for my 1,5 meter King Python and he loves it. Just enough space for him to be comfortable.Looks good too

Firstly, like the other reviews say, there were a few sharp parts on the inside but don’t let that be a deal breaker! They were very easily filed down with just a standard nail file.As you can see I had the XL but purchased from another online store, at about the same price as this! But the issue with trying to find a hide large enough for an adult female royal Python is in store they’re ridiculous prices but online the measurements aren’t truthworthy, which is why I ended up having to keep the XL as I got it in a haul and the XXL was out of stock.It is more flimsy than the XL so just be careful when cleaning etc but other than that, for the price as well, I do recommend.Would probably be good for a smaller tortoise too, but definitely no snake larger than a female adult royal Python.
