I purchased this product for my classroom. Not only does it have extra slots (36 total), but it is solid and sturdy. It is almost as does as the one my husband made me years so. His product being better because he made it with love for me. But this organizer is ALMOST as good because someone else put it together for me. One minute it was in the box, I turned around and it looked just like the picture.I’m so happy that I purchased this product. Easy to assemble. I didn’t buy it for paper organizing but would work great for that . Very strong and great item

I put it together alone. It kept coming apart as I assembled it. This would not have been a problem, if I had another pair of hands to help.Strong and attractive, it is a good purchase.

We bought this for a preschool "take home" file. It's pretty heavy duty and works well. The assembly wasn't too bad, but you do have to look carefully at the instructions (just pictures, nothing printed). Once you wet and pound in those "pre-glued" pegs, don't think you're going to pull them back out if you realize you put something together incorrectly! LOLI was pleased that I (a girl!) was able to put it together myself. I did make one mistake, but figured out a way to make it work.Took me a bit to figure out the "label" parts, but eventually it made sense and then it was easy!

What a waste of money! Don’t waste your time or money on this POS! The whole thing is held together with pre glued dowel rods, that you are supposed to dip in a glass of water and then hammer into place. Except it doesn’t fit together and I used a rubber mallet to tap and the dowel rods are too long and just poke out the finish. And it all feels like one wrong touch and the whole unit will come undone. Seriously!!!! Just dowel rods holding the whole unit 🤬😡🤬

Some of the slats are shorter than the distance bw the pegs so when you go to take papers out of a slot, the wooden insets collapse

So far these work well. They are fairly sturdy and look nicer than what we had.

The media could not be loaded. after great hesitation from past reviews I ordered this shelf unit figuring I would hot glue them in place. I was pleasantly surprised by the fact they are very secure, sturdy and do not fall as well as come with 32 (enough to make 36 compartments as advertised (bottom of unit makes the other 4). I think the problem is people may be the fact that people are putting them upside down or not putting the lip behind the pegs. The widest part of the edge should be down and the lip placed behind the pegs. The shelves do not fall when you do this. I am unsure if the company redesigned them or if they are just not being used properly in the past reviews. I just slide them in to begin with and it was a disaster. Then I saw there as a gap in the back and figured it out! I would not hesitate to buy this unit as of 12/15/2018. I use them to store my rubber stamps which are heavy in 8.5x11 acrylic box frames I use as trays.

It's perfect for what we needed, just be careful you insert the top wooden rods all the way, or they may puncture the top when you try to set the top... Other than that, perfect!

Boards came cracked right down the middle. Cheap material. Make sure to check all boards before starting assembly.
