MarineNow Coated Pancake Downrigger Canon Ball Weight with Fin Choose Weight

Used for Samon & Trout fishing & work very well

Drops straight down and not sure if the reflective tape makes a difference, but the other day only one rod hooked a bright 13lb Chinook salmon and it was on this ball.

These are o.k., especially for the price. I ordered two and the red stickers we placed unevenly on the fin with part over lapping up on to the ball (quality control invite). Water flow probably would have washed them off after a while. I trimmed mine to be flush and ran a bead of glue around the sticker and they have held up fine all season. These are fairly thick/big, so I don't think they are lead.

Everything works as it should. The only complaint I have is with the reflective prismatic tape. When they arrived it was missing from one side of one weight. After just a couple trips it came off the other side. This isn’t a big deal as I think it doesn’t do much compared to a dodger/flasher. However, if you are going to sell the weights with prismatic tape, it should be installed correctly and made to last. Overall I would not hesitate to buy these weights again.

These weights are terrible they don’t track well at all no matter even if you try to tune them didn’t even try to sell them I just gave them away as I would not charge someone for something that doesn’t work

Loop to attatch to down rigger was broken upon arrival making it completely useless. Unfortunate as the other works well and tracks nicely through the water. Hoping to get support to get money back or another one sent.
