This is a MUCH better product than ones included in a set. I bought a cheaper set that included a scraper and also this one. THIS is one of those items where you get what you pay for. Way better quality, sturdy in your hand and I use this with confidence to use on our dogs teeth.

For those of us that clean our dog's teeth, this works well. (Personally this is a lot less traumatic for the dog, and it doesn't take that long. So, if you are thinking about it and your dog is well behaved, this will do the job.)

This is my favorite brand of stainless steel dental scaler. They are well made, are angled perfectly and hold their sharp edge for years. I've never had one rust on me...believe me, there are manufacturers claiming to have quality stainless steel that will indeed rust. This scaler comes with it's own plastic sleeve. Good product.

I have used this on my dogs teeth. Works well. Takes a while for the dog to get used to having his teeth cleaned with this. Take it slow as in 1 tooth per day until he gets used to it.
