Useful to provide decent protection to shin and knee, while relatively lightweight for Mountain Biking. Despite some others mention you should order up, I actually tried and honestly will stick with ordering true to my thigh measurement per instructions. If you order up, then it's more likely to slide down at least if you use it for MTB.By no means this will provide a great protection against a real nasty spill, especially against rocks, but I imagine this will help avoid scrapes from pedal pins and or a minor fall.When I wear this to ride in late fall and winter from mid 70's to 30's degree F temperature, this works out perfectly, not too hot but yet provide enough warmth that I can still wear a short MTB pants to bike for 15+ miles without feeling too stuffy or sweaty.

These are basically a joke. The foam is cut into little octagons and glued to the fabric. They'll stay in place for a little while, but after 2 days of use the knees were just a big wad of padding. I cut open the knees and pulled out the filling. Used regular knee pads over these and the shins we're okay for another couple of days but then the same thing started happening. So... If you don't need them for long then great! However if you are dead set on getting these, I'd recommend placing a small for of super glue on each little foam octagon right when you get them and they may hold up a bit longer

I washed them one time in cold water no problem, then went to dry them and the padding completely fell apart inside of the elastic. I got these to replace some McDavid pads I had for 3 years (hundreds of washes and drying). I thought these were nicer because they had knee and shin protection.... but the quality is definitely off. The little hexagons start separating immediately after one time in the dryer and before the first wash the little hexagons start slightly separating giving you less protection. I returned them and got the more expensive name brand ones but at least these work out as expected. Don't waste your money with this one.

I used these for a toughmudder event, 10 mile, 25 obstacle mud run course etc. This product protected my shins and knees and didn't tear or RIP apart after 4 hours of climbing walls, mud hills, and crawling on the ground. Only problem was they kept falling down. I had an XXl but wish they made them a size larger. Overall, I recommend this product and still have them to use again after completing this mud obstacle run.

On a Per-Dollar Basis, this is the best value I've ever had on Amazon. I don't use them for sports, I used them to protect my knees and shins while I'm unloading and loading auto parts in the Midwest.They work great for that because they're light and don't slide around.

For the price, I personally think it is a great buy. I feel safe wearing this knee & shin guard foam padding protection. Breathable material and the flexible material makes pedaling easy.Thanks

The quality its ok, just very tbin material looks like a compression sleve not alot of padding. Not what i saw at the picture

i like the elastic band sewn into the top so the pads do not slide down my thighs. i dislike how close the thigh pad is to the shin pad. there needs to be a greater space between the two pads.
