Better than Deadpool 2
Curse words still prevalent, but it's not a constant potty mouth (like the original.) My daughter wanted to watch Deadpool and we told her it was inappropriate, so this was a blessing. I love the princess bride aspect of it, so cute.I actually prefer this version to the original. It still has all the important parts, it's toned down, but still hilarious.

2 stories for the price of 1
I really prefer this PG-13 version to the R theatrical release and not just because it is PG-13. There is another whole story within a story going on that doubles the fun. You will need to have seen the Princess Bride movie first, though, to get it.

Great decision!
This movie was shipped and arrived exactly as expected which is a 5 star review!I got the movie because I had been following the trends and trying to find it without spending $50 as it seems this was out of production. The movie came with a digital that was still active. The movie itself seemed a little rushed. It's segments of deadpool 2 made into a semi-princess bride style. It was made PG-13 by removing some swear words, but the jokes were still present. They also used some bleeps to make some jokes seem worse. This is a true PG-13 movie-- I would not advise to let your youngsters watch it until they are a little older.

Is there a more perfect movie?
Yes, of course there are way better movies. Why would you question that? Sure I enjoyed this heavily edited and toned down version of one of my favorite Marvel movies ( Howard the Duck, you still rule) but its not a perfect movie, even with Fred Savage reprising an homage to a tribute of the Princess Bride. Try watching Night of the Hunter, that there is one great movie, Creepy religious figures, kids in danger, Shelley Winters in neglige back when Shelley Winters in neglige was something worth seeing. So should you buy Once upon a Deadpool. Yes, if you like Deadpool. Or are curious about Deadpool and don't want all the drug jokes, swearing, and filthy filthy things.

Once upon a deadpool
This movie is hilarious and an awesome PG-13 re telling of the second movie. And the alternate scenes are just as funny as the R rated ones. It's really funny how it's a mix of deadpool meets the princess bride. All around funny movie in my opinion

Ehhh
We rented this so our 12 year old nephew could finally watch Deadpool. I am glad they made a "cleanish" version so teens could see it but I wish they would have done this for the first movie that way they would know the back story and understand what was going on. It wasn't so great for us adults after watching the original version.

A Great Spin on a Great Comic Book Movie!
“Once Upon a Deadpool” recuts “Deadpool 2” to a PG-13 rating, using sequences in which Deadpool reads the story to a kidnapped Fred Savage in his studio bedroom from “The Princess Bride” as a framing device. For a character who routinely breaks the fourth wall, this allows for even greater metatextual commentary, beginning with a discussion on the limits of profanity under MPAA rules. This also works to address some of the critiques of “Deadpool 2.” Further changes include the digital removal of all blood from action scenes, not only making them funnier but also demonstrating the inherent flaws in how the MPAA rates violence. Dialogue has been redubbed or bleeped to meet the requirements, some scenes are trimmed down, and the few scenes with nudity are blurred. In addition to the added humor of the Fred Savage scenes, some jokes have been added including an “Up” reference during Deadpool’s bleak moments before Colossus recruits him for the X-Men. The overall effect not only works well for the tone of the Deadpool franchise to date, but acts much like Kirby Dick’s 2006 documentary, “This Film Is Not Yet Rated,” to demonstrate the arbitrariness of America’s ratings system.
