Kingjet Compatible Ink Cartridge Replacement for Canon 280XL 281XL 280 281 Work for Canon TS9120, TS8220, TS8120, TS8320 Printers, 6 Color Pack

My printer would not recognize the toner cartridge. I tried both cartridges and neither worked. I purchased a much more expensive Brother TN-760 toner cartridge and it worked just fine. The 2 Kingjet cartridges were returned to Amazon without any problems.Update: Kingjet was very quick to respond to my posting. My printer was manufactured in October 2018 and, it turns out, Brother made a change that allowed the Brother toner cartridge to work while blocking after-market toner cartridges. Kingjet took action immediately and made the necessary updates to their toner cartridge. They even sent me two new toner cartridges to test. I am happy to report that they worked perfectly. The starter cartridge I received with my MFC L2750dw lasted about one week, so off to Amazon I went to find a replacement. I decided to give this company a shot, as it was cheaper than the current supplier I use, had decent reviews, and the package would arrive same day if I delivered to a locker. Worst case, I figured I could return it if it didn't work out. I have heard that there may be issues with some of these aftermarket toner cartridges because they are not chip compatible. This one is chip compatible, and it works great with my printer. Quick delivery as well. It's been a few weeks and my law clerk says everything is fine, which is music to my ears!

The instruction coming with this toner is not clear. First it has replacement instruction of various different toners. Secondly different printers have different ways to reset the counter.After I replaced the toner on my Brother MFCL2750DW, the printer didn’t take it and showed a “replace toner” message. I googled and found a YouTube video on how to reset the toner counter. I followed the video and the printer reciganized the new toner.

So after several tries of removing and reinserting the toner cartridge I finally got my DCP-L2550DW to accept the cartridge. The problem is that the printer can't detect how much toner is in the cartridge so it constantly displays the "replace toner" message which is extremely annoying and also I no longer have any way to check how much toner is left so I know when to order another cartridge. I will be buying the more expensive OEM cartridges from now on so my printer works as it was intended to.***UPDATE***Kingjet sent some instructions on how to align the little gear on the side correctly and now my toner cartridge works just like the original part. It seems that they would ship it like this or at least include those instructions with the toner cartridge itself instead of my having to leave a negative review to get some attention. Overall however I am very happy with my purchase.***UPDATE 08/19***So my toner still shows as full but the roller on the toner cartridge has lines on it for some reason which translates to faded lines of text on my printed documents. Had to throw this in the trash and buy a new cartridge from a different brand. At least I got a few months of prints out of it. Would not purchase again.

Had originally ordered a different toner from Amazon. However they were out of stock and not expected to get resupplied for 5 more days. So I cancelled the order and ordered this toner. Installation was simple and there was no need to reset any counters on the printer. The printer recognized the new toner with no issues. So far the print is good and the printer seems to be working without any issues. Would order this toner again.

It’s not perfect because the printer won’t recognize it as a new cartridge so it kept alerting to replace the toner. The only way to make it usable is to turn off the replace toner notification, that way it will print although it says the toner is empty, it’s like a safety measure to prevent damage to the printer. That said the ink quality is excellent, very dark and uniform. I gave it 5 stars because it’s so cheap and the ink quality is so decent that I don’t care the printer won’t recognize it as a new full toner.

I tried toner cartridges from another third party brand or two on Amazon for my Brother 2370, and had mixed results. Some good but a few with barely enough toner in them or turned from a crisp print to fading gray after only a few hundred pages. The support people were good about replacements, but I'd rather just have good print quality out of the gate. This brand – Kingjet – has been much better so far, the best I've tried. The cartridge is still kicking out crisp, solid black prints. I haven't needed support yet, but they seem to be proactive and keen to keep my business. Recommended, and I will be buying again.

Finally, I found an ink cartridge that will work in my new printer Brother L-2350DW! I ordered one when I ordered my printer, and when I went to change cartridges, it would not recognize it. I had a question for the company, but have not heard back from them. I will be ordering all my cartridges from Kingjet from now on. Thank you for making me a happy customer!!!!!!!!!!
