Solid blade
Very solid blade on these. Can all take a good whack.Used the to carefully take up about 20sq m of solid oak flooring, whilst trying to preserve the tongue and groove. Easily coped with the abuse I gave them both to get in between each board from the top (the metal head gives good transmission of force without damaging ing the rubberised grip). They were strong enough to cope with being hit horizontally to prize the boards away from each other.Excellent product worth the money.

Sturdy
I bought these after someone recommended them on a facebook page. I wasn’t disappointed. They are sharp and sturdy doing the job I bought them for with ease

Strong and resilient
Hammer through handle is excellent and the strength and lack of flex is perfect for prying

Hautmec Tools
I have bought a few Hautmec hand tools now, and I cannot praise them enough. They are very well made, solid, and comfortable in the hand. Hautmec think about the product, rather than just copying others - hence these chisel knives, and the Hautmec painter's multitool, have strike-through, and hand guards to prevent the tools slipping through wet hands.I have been using this set of three chisel knives to strip walls, pry up boards, and scrape timber and masonry surfaces for painting. They have taken the bashing I have given them without any problems. They are an essential in my toolbag now.

They look stronger than they are
Overall they’re not too bad you can hit them with a hammer which is good. Try and put any pressure on them. They bend quite easily. The metal is quite soft

Great for removing old tiles
These are a sturdy design which you can safely hit with a lump hammer. I found them great for removing old tiles from the wall or hacking out bits of plaster. As the blades are quite thick, I would not use these as my first choice for any kind of fine filling work. But I don't think they are designed for that particularly.

Very Heavy Duty
Has all the details right. Heavy duty, thick blade.Reinforced head to blade for striking.Do not think you can flex this blade. It is solid and rigid. This is just what I needed.I have plenty of flexible blade scrapers. I needed some rigid ones.
