Hurtta Extreme Warmer Dog Winter Jacket, Lingon, 26 in

I swear by Hurtta's winter dog coats- its the only coat that I feel confident about keeping my short haired pittie mix, Odele, warm when it's 18F degrees outside. Odele had the Hurtta Expedition Parka last year (which is also great), I got the Hurtta Extreme Warmer since it looked like it even warmer than the Expedition Parka. The Extreme Warmer is so well made and has multiple points for adjustments to customize the fit. I purchased it in the summer time and just this December busted it out of storage once Chicago starting seeing below 40 degrees weather. I ordered the 20" since this is what his measurements size to. Also the 20" Expedition parka fit with room to spare. The two coat styles have to same measurement sizing so I was super disappointed when I found the 20" Extreme Warmer fits much shorter. Since I purchased it in the summer, I was months past my return window period by the time I had Odele wear the coat.I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask if I could return or exchange the coat. When I did, the seller (William Hunter Equestrian) was amazing- responded quickly and graciously allowed me to return it. I couldn't believe how great the customer service was and am so thankful that they permitted a refund so I can order a coat that fits Odele to keep him happy and toasty this winter!I would 1000% recommend purchasing from William Hunter Equestrian.

You can tell a lot of thought and effort was put into making this product. It’s a great investment because I'm sure it will last many many years. The quality is phenomenal. It can be an overkill sometimes because the insulation works too good, but it's nice to have for times of snow storms and such. If you’re buying this for a puppy, get a larger size than his actual size so you could use it the next year when he/she is fully grown as well. You won't get the great fit and look at first doing that but it’s better than buying this twice.

Hi I ordered 24 inch for my 8 month old Aussie Who weighs right now 35 pounds and the reason why I bought a 24 inch because he will grow into it perfectly as an adult I am very pleased with this product it is very well-made. It is gorgeous inside and out and my dog absolutely loves it and is very comfortable in the jacket. been wanting to buy one of these jackets and I’m so glad I did.

This is THE best jacket for extreme cold and snow. The leg loops don't irritate my pitbulls thighs at all (short haired dog with sensitive skin so that says a lot), and with the belt around the middle this is officially the only jacket that stays on my dog perfectly, at all times, no matter how much she runs and jumps through the snow! Keeps her so toasty! The thermal inside layer is always giving off so much heat when I take it off of her, keeping her chest and belly warm at all times. The turtle neck design also has an inner layer that can be adjusted to form a hood around their face for extreme wind and rain. I do use this as a rain coat as well, as she will only go out to use the bathroom during a storm if she is wearing it. That tells you how dry it keeps her! The design is just flawless. I love the connected chest piece. If you need a good coat for your dog, order this. It is MORE than worth the money. This is our 3rd year with the same jacket and it is still like new. Follow the size chart and measure your dog. I did have to send it back because the medium was too long. I have a 50 pound, very small pitbull and she is a small. She absolutely adores her coat and gets excited whenever she sees me grab it. As I said, perfect fit, comfortable, and keeps her super warm in the frigid temperatures of the Northeast!

I bought this jacket for two of my dogs. The fit (22”) was good on my Border Collie boys. They are easy to put on and warm. I have the cinnamon and black colors. I like that it doesn’t have Velcro.

Purchased for my 13 year old standard Chihuahua.This coat fits much better than the warmer suit (which I sent back for a refund) but it is not insulated. It has a reflective lining which helps to reflect body heat. The outer fabric is a nice quality and wind proof/water resistant.HOWEVER, on very cold winter days here in Wisconsin, I will have to add a sweater.The only reason why I still kept this for my dog is that it did fit her well and she's covered at her flanks.

This is a great cold weather dog coat. Living in Northern Wisconsin your pets need that added warmth on occassion and this is just the coat to do that.

The media could not be loaded.  Meine Hündin hat es sich anstandslos anziehen lassen. Ich habe Gr. 65 genommen - sie ist 63 cm. also etwas grösser, aber durch den Gurt, den man verstellen kann, passt es dann super. Der Mantel ist schön leicht und hält trotzdem schön warm. Bin sehr zufrieden und nachdem meine Hündin sich auch nicht sträubt es anzuziehen und ganz normal damit geht, kann ich davon ausgehen, dass es für sie auch angenehm zu tragen ist. Musste es auch schon waschen - Handwäsche (laut Beschreibung keine Waschmaschine), wo sich der Dreck ganz leicht entfernen lies. Habe es dann in die Waschmaschine zum Schleudern gegeben.. war kein Problem. Über die Haltbarkeit kann ich noch nichts sagen, da erst erhalten, aber bis jetzt alles top. Kann diesen Mantel nur wärmstens empfehlen.

Der Mantel ist seinen Preis absolut wert!Unser schmaler aber langer Galgo-Mix passt nicht so einfach in jeden Mantel, der Hurtta lässt sich an vielen Stellen perfekt anpassen. Er hält die kleine Frostbeule auch bei längeren Standzeiten super warm und hindert sie überhaupt nicht an der Bewegung.Unsere Hündin liebt ihren Mantel.

The dog jacket is exactly what I wanted and as shown. Unfortunately, it comes from England and it never arrived in time for winter. It took forever to get to Canada, who knows why! I did contact the seller for a refund which we agreed upon but when I took it to the post office it would have cost me $76.00 to return the $125 jacket. I guess I am stuck with it. The sizing is a bit large.

Our volunteer K9 SAR team trains year round, here in Canada. So there are lots of days when the temperature is well below freezing, and our pups are sitting around in their kennels waiting for their turn to get out and move.I've used this coat in temperatures down to -30C (about -20F) and my boy's always been warm and dry inside when I take it off. And the coat must be comfortable, as my guy hasn't tried to eat his way out of it yet.I strongly advise that you go to the Hurtta website and follow their instructions on how to measure your own dog to get the proper fit.I would buy another, if I ever wear this one out - and I don't ever expect it to wear out.
