ThuleTruck Rack Adapter Kit Silver, 2005-2014 Tacoma (XK3)

These brackets were easy to attach and worked great and made getting our rack attached to our truck! Already went camping and threw kayaks on…no problem!

Bought a Thule Sportrack off Craigslist and needed to order the correct clamps for the 2nd gen taco. The 3rd gen rails are lower down on the side of the bed from the 2nd gen. These are the correct ones for the 2nd gen taco and there are 8 units in the order. Pro tip, use a ratchet with the correct allen bit. It's laborious to use the little one they give you and it's hard to get the proper amount of torque.

Fits great

Order these for my 2010 pre runner and the brackets are to big. There is a 3/4in of a gap between where the rack towers and the top of the bracket mount. So it doesn’t do anything at all for mounting and securing my Thule rack.

Fits Tacoma gen 2. They're a little tricky to get on, but works perfectly as intended.

Don't forget to order these baby's if you plan on installing these rack on your Tacoma - otherwise you'll be struggling to figure out why the 'stock' brackets were provided.they work perfect.

Works great for my 2013 Tacoma

I felt like the folks at Thule didn't actually have a Tacoma to test this out on. It works, and holds Thule equipment well, but the bolts are significantly longer than they need to be, and long enough that they're actually a nuisance to install. The sides of a 2012 Tacoma bed, at least, have a slight inward slope, and the heads of the bolts are hard up against it when fitting the adapter onto the bed rail.
