If you like carbs don't buy this book
I have lost 2 stone on Slimming World (still eating bread, potatoes, pasta etc) and Slimming World advocates NOT cutting out any major food groups because you will crave them then binge. I have a few more pounds to go so I bought this book...and tried the diet but it is not realistic and I don't think it's healthy. You have to cut out ALL carbs for 17 days, so that's some fruits like bananas, potatoes, pasta, bread and so on. And you are only supposed to exercise for 17 mins a day because of low energy levels (due to a lack of carbs).I have a busy life. I walk the dog every morning, run a business, go to ashtanga yoga three times a week - and having the restrictive diet didn't give me enough energy. I was back on the lovely Slimming World (beans on toast anyone) by day four.If you have LOADS of weight to lose then this diet might work for you if you have willpower. But you will have to be strict. But as SW teaches you, if you bring willpower into the equation you will always fail. You create a battle within yourself. Better to start from a place where you can have a bit of everything in moderation.I have tried all sorts of diets over the years, and written about them in the national press, and I wouldn't recommend this as a healthy choice. Any diet that promises a quick fix and cuts of food groups is not sustainable or healthy. Your body needs carbs people!

Great and easy!
Wonderful. Easy diet. Even I can give up wine for 17 days!! I usually lose 8 - 9 lbs when I do it, after xmas and the end of the summer holls. I tried using soya yoghurt instead of dairy, I don't do dairy, and didn't lose as much weight, so just left it out. I am a picker and the diet allows snacks. There are cultural food variations at the back.

Great Diet Book
You should try this diet; it worked well for me. Just make sure you have a good stetch of time to get into it and don't have big events or parties half way through. its all about routine and once you get in on it you will not find this highly effective diet difficult. the revised version has some more science and literature but the diet is the same. get either one of them.

It Really Works!!!!!
This is the most successful diet aid that I have tried. It really does work - in 17 days you will lose up to 10-12 possible more if you follow the 17 day dietary programme accurately. It is a complete re-education of eating habits, not only do you lose weight but you feel and look healthier. I have maintain the weight lose for over a year. Now after Christmas I am going to do another 17 Days just to maintain the weight lose achieved.

Hooray a healthy diet that works and fits into your lifestyle.
This works. It is a low carb, high lean protein diet. It allows you to eat certain fruits and limitless select vegetables. Includes many recipe ideas. There are 3 stages to this diet with the final one educating you to maintain a healthy lifestyle and prevent gaining weight again. I have been able to eat out on numerous occasions whilst still sticking to the 17 day diet. Also I didn't have to prepare separate meals from the rest of the family, just slight alterations. I bought this book as 2 of my friends had lost weight with this book. A big thumbs up from me.

Best diet in the world!
This book will help you lose weight and develop healthy eating habits. And is so easy to do it! I lost 2 stones in 8 weeks ( I was 74 kg when I started).The daily plan is easy to follow and you will not be hungry. I have had so many compliments since I lost weight (October 2011) that I have decided never to gain again. Definitely worth doing, but you have to have a book to do it. Best diet ever!

A book that works if you stick to it.
I followed this book for about 10 days wasn't keen on some of the receipes and got bored so gave up, but in those 10 days i did actually lose weight. I did this diet along with exercise so maybe that helped lose the weight. But if you have good will power then give it a go and follow it properly and im sure you will see the benefits.

Easiest diet to follow and no hunger pangs!
I hate counting calories. This book just spells it out nice and easy. It is a sensible diet which takes off the pounds at a reasonable rate so that when you do come off the diet you dont just pile them on again. I never starved myself so the cravings were manageable. I reccomend this as a simple step by step diet. No gimmicks. No products to buy. Just sensible eating.
