i love moleskins

I've loved and used Moleskin notebooks since I lived in Germany in the late 90s. When I moved back to the states I was a little sad I wouldn't be able to get them. When they started wider distribution (just before bullet journaling became popular) I was happy to be able to purchase them again. This is the first time I've used these smaller 3.5" x 5.5" journals but they seem to be made to the same quality standards of the larger ones. I prefer the dot models over the lines or grids but they all seem to be the same otherwise. If your interest, there are 17 dots left to right, and 27 dots top to bottom when holding it in book orientation on these 3.5" x 5.5".Bottom line: Worth the price, especially if you're looking for a small notebook to toss into a backpack, bag, or even your back pocket.

Perfect for quick note taking - I use them for orders at the bar and table side during high volume restaurant service. I would not recommend them for anything that is important as they are not waterproof and the cover and pages tend to bend easily when stored in your pant or apron pocket.

The Moleskine Cahier Journa is ideal to carry in your bag. It has a small size, like my hand, so if you want a notebook for sticky notes, this is your option.

I love the portability of these cahier journals and that they come in dot grid. I use them to take notes to be transferred to my Obsidian-based Zettelkasten (slip-box method) and for tasks to be added to my Getting Things Done system.One down side as mentioned by the others is that not all of the pages are perforated. It seems to be only half of the book. Not a huge problem for me, as I leave most pages in, but it can be inconvenient at times.

These are perfect for ideation on the go! If I don’t have my moleskin with me… we’ll I might as well be naked.

These are nice little books but super thin.the back has a awesome place to hold receipt.

They were a lot smaller than I anticipated and for my use I wasn’t able to utilize them for what I wanted.... but I tried to repurpose instead of sending them back

Very hard wearing and great quality as you expect from Moleskine.

These are the perfect pocket notebooks, I love that they come in a pack on three as well.I just stick it in my purse or pocket everyday. I attached an adhesive pen loop to it as well for convenience but honestly I used to use the clip over the front cover and that worked well too.I’m a photographer also, so when I’m on a shoot and need my shot list availablet I have it all in my notebook that I keep in my back pocket making it so convenient.
