A colorful choice
The listing says the color is Petrol, but the bottle comes labelled as Deep Sea Green. In either case it is a very nice Teal with a darker more subtle hue than the other Teals in my collection.

Deep Sea Green (seller calls it Petrol?!)
I really love most Graf von Faber Castell inks and Deep Sea Green happens to be a favorite of mine! It looks lovely on the page and has a grayish blue green look to it. It is not waterproof and will smear when it comes in contact with water, but will leave writing on the page. A very beautiful color!

Much lighter purple than advertised.
Do not buy this color of ink. While the QUALITY of the ink is wonderful, the color is not as advertised. It is MUCH lighter and borders on illegible. I was really expecting that the color swatch on the box matched the shade of dried ink, or even resembled it, but that is not even remotely the case.

Not Waterproof, Purple a little dull
It’s not waterproof- get Platinum pigment ink for that. And it’s rather a dull purple compared to Lamy, Sailor, or blending the red and blue PlatinumWater applied to all inks in photo. First ink is Noodler special, second is this one, third one is platinum, fourth is Lamy
