I wanted a stand that looked good and was sturdy enough for the hammock. I went back and forth on a wood one because I think those look nice, but ultimately, the price was too much. I had my husband put this together so I can't speak much to the assembly, but I am the one who moves it around, and while it's not lightweight or easy, it's not terrible either. We leave it outside all year round and only take down the actual fabric hammock. It's withstood several Minnesota winters and doesn't even have a scratch. Additionally, it's been knocked over several times during some particularly rough storms and is still in good condition. (Generally, it held up pretty well and was only knocked over in terrible storms). It's good for the price, and the quality will last.

I bought this hammock stand back in July of 2020 and it's still holding strong. Tip: As you can see from my photos my husband wanted to keep it off the gravel spot at our camp where we decided to place the hammock so that it wouldn't be in direct contact of the ground. We did this because we leave the stand up year round, summer and winter. Being off the ground a little helps this stand which is already rust proof because of the powdered coating, well it even makes it even more less likely to rust as the gravel won't scratch the coating as it sits above it on the womanized 2 x 6 boards which my husband attached using heavy duty zip ties. The boards actually make the stand even stronger and if you have a slight lean that is easily remedied with a couple shims. Love that we can leave this stand up year round and simply attach our 12 foot hammock to the stand without having to assemble it every summer. The stand itself is super strong and I love that it accommodates all different types and lengths of hammocks. I would definitely recommend this hammock stand, 3 years and still holding strong and in great shape even when left outside for 3 years.

Three years ago I bought a hammock in Puerto Rico that I treasure. But, I did not want to hook it on the patio walls. This item was the solution my problem. I've had it three years and works very well. Only problems is aesthetics, it comes in a glazed black color, BUT, the Florida sun turns it dusty charcoal grey after a year. I can't disassemble and re-assemble every time it rains....so I love it in its dusty charcoal beauty and it still works like a charm.

This is a great hammock stand. It was easy to put together, it fits a variety of styles of hammocks, and I especially like that it is substantial enough that your hammock is not so low to the ground that you’re dragging on the ground when you’re sitting in it. It’s still relatively easy to move around. I would highly recommend it.

Easy to assemble, instructions were very specific/helpful. It would be easiest with 2 people but I was able to assemble by myself without too much difficulty. The product is sturdy and easy to move.

It is easy to assemble. Super light weight so you can move it all around if you want it in different places. It had no problem holding our weight. The black looks nice. A few tiny scratches from packaging but nothing to complain about. Only to point out is the hard wrap is a bit cheep. But totally replaceable. We're using what came we it but thinking of buying heavy duty bolts.I'd still buy it again.

I spent hours looking for the right hammock base as my son is a varsity high school offensive line football player and I wanted something sturdy.This does the job! He and his girlfriend often hang out in the hammock, total weight over 320#, and this stand shows no sign of weakness.

I’m 6’2” so getting my partner and I in there was still easy, perfect for taller people and couples. But you have to get the right hammock. Super easy to install. I did it in 20 minutes.

La base está excelente y se arma fácilmente. Solo que faltaron rondanas y una tuerca mariposa de acuerdo a lo que decía el instructivo y contenido de la caja. Pero la recomiendo. 😊
