Scholastic Success with Writing, Grade 4 Illustrated Edition

So we’ll designed! Totally love that it’s a step by step activity that build up of my students knowledge gradually. Easy to teach as well. Absolutely love that it achieve all the goals of the common core for this and every grade.

Review from a Homeschooling Mom:UPDATE: My only complaint is that the provided space is usually not enough space to write a response.I am using this book for my 10 year old daughter who struggles with dislexia. This book is definitely helping her improve her writing skills. The instructions are very clear and easy to understand. I encourage her to do this book independently, but occasionally she does ask for help or need a reminder to stay focused.

I bought several of these books due to the pandemic. I had a feeling much of what my children needed to learn was either forgotten or not learned. What can we expect from crisis learning followed by a 'summer slide?' I bought the pandemic grade and the subsequent grade. My children get 1 page/day from this and several other books from this group. I highly recommend them. It definitely brushed their skills back up without excessive neediness from me to assist (but I still have to check the work).

It's a good learning tool and already helping my little one in troubled areas.

Great book!! First year homeschooling and Scholastic books have been a life saver. Writing and English my kiddo is right at grade level and this challenges him but isn’t too difficult that he can’t push through!

Great supplemental writing curriculum for my 4th grader. The lessons are fun & easy to understand while still on her grade and skill level.

I have a fourth grade class and use this as a asupplement to my LA subject. It serves its purpose. But kids would prefer more fun worksheets... is that even possible.

I think this series is very well designed for teaching english language skills. I think that the price is also very reasonable.

It's decent but lots of activities aren't useful and my Grade 3 student doesn't find them interesting enough to do. The book itself is fairly thin and a kid could work through it in a week or two. Reproducible worksheets and some interesting topics so I won't complain too much. 4/5 stars.

Este libro es un material de muchísima utilidad para que los niños aprendan a expresarse de forma correcta, construir oraciones , comprender un texto etc.Es muy ameno y fácil de seguir si los niños ya llevan un par de años estudiando inglés y en casa los queremos reforzar.
