Griffin & Sabine redux
Griffin & Sabine having resolved, we now have a similar pair of people, Matthew and Isabelle getting involved in Griffin and Sabine's quest. If you need a refresh of what attracted you to the Griffin & Sabine trilogy, this is the thing.

He does it again! And better!
Five stars! In the second trilogy, more mystery enters the mix. However vague, I never felt overwhelmed. Towards the end of the book, I started feeling a little "meh", but that disappeared when suddenly the conclusion brought everything into a new perspective. In other reviews, I saw some readers dislike Matthew and Isabella. I loved them. They share some of Griffin and Sabine's magic (Isabelle studies in Paris, Matthew is an archeologist in Alexandria). But they seem to be younger than both Griffin and Sabine, have a very sweet love and also a more "real" relationship: they talk of things they did together, of lovemaking, of seeing each other again... That is a relief after the strangeness of the first trilogy. They are impossibly sweet, but also two unique and clever people.BONUS: Isabelle writes from Paris, Matthew from Alexandria, Griffin and Sabine from a place called Paolo. This makes the artwork more diverse and more beautiful than ever. Especially Matthew's postcards and letters from Egypt were stunning pieces of illustration.

Read & Enjoy
Interesting books with actual letters and cards of correspondence between people. Not to give too much away is a bonus.
