After receiving a DOA battery from a different seller, I was apprehensive when I installed this battery. I was so pleased that my tray icon immediately indicated a functioning battery was installed and it was charging as it is supposed to. I wasted so many hours on the previous battery verifying that the problem wasn't my ac adapter, mother board charging circuit, etc. Now, I can get on with life. I like the 2-year warranty. The instruction book actually had some good pointers about deep cycling the battery to calibrate the times displayed by my battery status icon. And the price was right.
