I have 4 piscifun fishing reels now after getting the first one I liked how it felt. The drag is very nice and the over all of the reel is excellent. When you can buy fishing equipment and let the grandkids put it through the ringer and it services them, you know you can trust it. I would recommend any fishing reel from piscifun very highly, great job.

Bought an Alijoz for a budget musky rod and was pretty impressed, so got this for my new ice rod I had made. Super nice reel! Very smooth and feels like it’s quality. Reel handle folds down for storage which is super cool. Would definitely recommend

For small smaller spools of light mono the line lay is just fine. I tried to fill the spool up to max capacity with 10 lb power pro an past just over half way filling up the spool its line lay went fucky an from the tapered walls on the spool extending beyond the travel so I couldn't fill them up as much as I wanted but still plenty of line on them an the reels have worked very well otherwise. 28 inch steelhead first time using it.

Definitely not a high end reel, but for the price it is perfect.

So I just got home from a fishing trip up in Northern Minnesota and I was really hoping that I would have had the opportunity to take this reel with me, but it didn't arrive in time. So when I got back from the trip today I had to open the package immediately. Which means I haven't had the time to test it out yet but I will give you my opinion of it just having it in my hand. For starters the reel was only $27.99 which is the best price point for a quality reel so I am curious to see how it performs. Upon opening the box I noticed that the handle folds in to the reel which for rod storage it is going to work exceptional. Drag system seems to be pretty smooth but I haven't had it out in the cold either. It's a little noisier of a reel but again for $27.99 you can't really compare it to a substantially more expensive reel. All in all I'm very p[leased with the purchase thus far. The season has started quite early so I will be putting this reel through the ringer in the coming weeks and will give you an honest review.

Nice little reel for the ice rod. Smooth turning, quick flip bail, and instant reverse. Great price for the product.
