Tough little actuator. Better than anticipated. UPDATED after testing.
The media could not be loaded. I needed a way to open a discharge chute on my mower. Worked out the leverage and thought this would be a good place to start. It seems to be a tough little motor. But it is probably not capable of moving anywhere near what it is rated for. You can see on the video, even leveraged out it is still very slow but it is better than what I had. The limit switches function exactly like they should. No hiccups yet. Several people have told me that I could probably run up to 24vdc to it if run times stay very short so I'm going to try that next. Good little motor for the price and seems to be standing up to the elements better than expected.UPDATE with new video: Since my last review I upgraded my output voltage to the actuator. I also changed the operating switch to something a little less awkward and used a cluster of 5 4-pin relays to handle the increased load. They work in concert as a DPDT switch. The increased voltage more than DOUBLED the actuator speed! During testing phase I accidentally overextended the lift linkage and thought I had fried the actuator motor. Got it home and found I'd just blown a fuse. The actuator motor survived! To prevent this in the future I installed a pair of limit switched to cut off the relay coil trigger circuits at the right moment. Lift speed is no longer an issue and I can open and close the chute door while mowing without having to think much about it and without having to take my eyes off of my work line. This is a tough little actuator. It should have been cooked when I overextended the linkage and locked down the motor with an enormous amount of tension on it. That in itself earned another star.

Works, looks nice, but..
I used it to lift a bed for storage underneath, it’s fine.. I don’t know, it’s pretty dang loud compared to others I have used. It took some doing to find an acceptable compromise between a height I could live with and it’s breaking point.. I did that with 12 volts and once I had that somewhat satisfactory, I swapped out the power supply with a 29v one I had from a recliner and it screams.. literally haha.. only time will tell how much abuse it can take, but it’s been going strong for about a month now. Oh yeah, mount it like you’re going to be hanging of the side of a building by it and that might not even be enough.. 3.8 stars 👍🏻

Function, reliability
Used them 4 a custom tonneau cover made of aluminum.

It will work on certain balers
I bought it for a friend for his baler to put his twine on his big round bales. It’s been going strong now for a few years now so it gets 5 stars from me

Does not work
Hoping the manufacturer reads this. Sadly got set to the side until today. Does not work at all. Was really looking forward to it getting used!

It works
More detailed instructions would help on the angle to install and offer the switch to go with it
